[Resolved]  SBI Bank — Cheque deposit

I want to address this issue in this forum against SBI Bank. I have deposited a outstation cheque for clearance in SBI on 16-Dec-08. Till today the check is not presented at the other bank. I have been continuously asking the brach - earlier they used to say the payment is not yet made from other bank. when I enquired with the other party, I came to know that the cheque is not yet presented for clearance.

SBI banks do not answer any query over the phone. I had to send some one from my family to enquire personally ( since I am out of station couldn't visit personally all the times.). Finally they told that the cheque is couriered on 30-Jan-2008( After 1.5 months). But still the cheque is not presented for clearance, I have confirmed with counter party.

Please advise what action I need to take in this scenario ?

BUT STIIL IT IS NOT DEPOSITE IN MY ACCOUNT EVERY TIME WHEN I SPOKE ON THAT TOPIC THY TOLD ME THAT WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBEL FOR THAT.I HAVE RESEPT OF BANK PLEAS DO THE NEED FULL

Hello sir, i have deposited cheque no.72482 (bangluru) in SBI tansen nagar gwalior branchon 16th july but till now my cheque is not clear .
Please tell me the expected date .

Sir, i've Saving account at SBI Kolkata, Someone deposited a UCO Bank multi city check at SBI Delhi at 23/10/2013, amount of 1, 75, 000/-. How much time it will need to clear normally?
