[Resolved] SBI Cards — Decline of Credit Card in spite of payment of full dues. | |
This refers to my Sbi Tata card no: [protected] which got declined on the 30th of April, 2009 amounting to Rs.8400 although i have made a payment of Rs. 25000.00 thru sbi cheque no.893435. As it's a sbi cheque which got cleared on the 28th April, as per my sbi bank statements, on what grounds has the bank declined my transaction on the 30th April when there should have been an available balance of Rs. 29100.00 and the transactions falls much within the credit limit of Rs.30000.00/-. This has been a higly embarrassing situation caused due to error on part of SBI, I would like to know how SBI would compensate for the same. This incident has caused severe damage to my reputation and esteem. If any action is not taken within 48 hours, I shall move to the consumer court and also put it up in the media. Looking forward to hearing from you at the earliest.
