[Resolved]  seagate sata hard disk — replacement problem in warranty period

i have bought a 80 gb hard disk of this company from nehru place( name of the shop is Computer empire) in march 2006 and they told me that it has a warranty period of 4.5 years, recently it stop working properly and i contacted at the service centre of seagate ( which is in ashoka building nehru place) and they told me that it will take around 4-5 days roughly. Along with it they gave me an acknowledgment of receiving the hard disc from me and i also get a sms about the same which has a call id.After 4 days they called me up to say that there is some problem about generating some number from the hart disc and it will take some more days. Finally, after trying thier contact number a lot they picked up the phone and said that my call id has been changed but i can now collect the new hard drive which i later on found defective. My address on the new acknowledgment that i receive has also been changed by them along with the call id. Now they are saying to go through all the replacement procedure again which is very cumbersome and there is no surity that this time it wont happen, as told to me.
I have been facing lots of trouble due to their indiffrent and rude attitude and deeply hurted by the kind of pranks they are playing on me.

I have purchased a External Hard Drive 80 GB. The Hard Drive is not working. The hard drive was sent for change from your Udaipur center on 9 march 2010. The Hard drive was changed after about 10 days. The changed Hard dive was not working & same was again retuned on 20th march2010. The hard Drive is again changed after 15 days. The same is again not working. Again it is asked that it is not working & they ask to submit again for change. Is the product is defactive or demaged Hard is repaired? In both the cases it should be changed immediately to protect me from inconveyance. my code no given is CA[protected] Prakash 5. Last replacement No of Hard drive is SGTUP[protected]DW.

hard disk — Replacement of Hard Disk due to bad sector.

Hello Sir/Madam,

I gave my samsung harddisk (hd sr.number-118711bva96540) for replacement due to bad sactot on dated 13th March 2010 at Shree Ram Krishna Enterprise,Ahmedabad.

I was told it will be given with in 25 days from the deposited date but had not got it back and also from last one month i heared the same reply from their side that it is in custom and we dont have it.

Please do the needful.Hope for your positive reply.

Respectfully I wish to say that I am Surender Kumar. I am residence of Block –T, House no. 597 Mangol Puri, New Delhi- 110083. I had gone to Accel Frontline Services for replacing Hard Disk in May. I got repaired Hard Disk on 14-Jun-2010. But it was not work properly. Then I had gone to Accel Frontline Services again for replacing Hard Disk in first week of July. I got repaired Hard Disk again on 15-July-2010. But It was not also work properly. I had gone third time to Accel Frontline Services for replacing Hard Disk in 23-July-2010. I am a job working man. So I can not come to Accel Frontline Services for replacing Hard Disk again and again. I am facing many problem for up and down.

When i visited service center they asked me to register first and they said we would need a code or id which starts with "h" then we would accept. so i hope the code will be here.
