[Resolved]  Seventymm.com — Pathetic Customer Service, False Expectations, Zero Commitment on Requests

I was introduced to this website when I purchased a Dell laptop. There was an offer for 1 month trial subscription for free. The Salesman who helped me with the free subscription did not clarify then, that the trial period is valid for 28 days only. For the registration purpose, I was charged 899 Rs. as a Secuirty deposit which was refundable incase I didnot wish to continue. During this trial subscription, I noticed that the movies which I wished to order were never in stock so I had to be content with ones which I did not prioritize.
I also found that the movies I ordered in the website never got delivered within 24 hrs from the request date.
Since, I was not too happy with the kind of movies I was able to order, I decided to cancel my subscription.
My Registration date was - 26/07/2011 and I called for the cancelation on 24th of Aug.
The representative I spoke to said that the subscription will be canceled once I return the movie DVD I had rented and full amount will get refunded within 21 WORKING DAYS. He had also suggested to order any product from the website for the total amount(899/-) but I opted for a full refund.
I called back 2 days later, since no one came to pick up the last movie DVD. This time I spoke to a different rep. He gave a different story and said that full refund will not be given as per policy, instead 450/- will only be refunded now as I placed a cancelation request after the 28 days of free trial period.To prove his point, the guy showed me the website and the Terms and Conditions section for Trial Period offer. This was never showed to me at the time of registration. This came as a surprise to me. I asked to speak to a Supervisor there and then.
Also, the account cancelation request was still pending as no one came to pick the DVD . The agent said that he will arrange a callback within 24 hrs as they donot have the option to do a warm transfer (really weird).
I waited for 2 more days and I didnot hear from anyone.
Later I called back again . I was given another fake commitment that the call back from Supervisor will be made the same day before 8pm even though the Customer Service closes at 7pm.
When I waited 1 more day for the callback; to my surprise the delivery boy from SeventyMM came to deliver another movie DVD, which I never requested. Before I could question him the boy left my door.
This meant, I had to again wait for the pick up before my account could be canceled.
Until this date as I am telling my story, my account is still active and I have not spoken to any Supervisors( God knows if they really exist).

Seventymm — Pathetic customer service, horrible experience

Recently I've renewed my membership - for 2nd time in past 16 months.

I was quite upset with their service, particularly the every-time goo[censored]p related to DVD delivery & return. They will almost always mess up with the rental queue/and or won't update the online account appropriately so that you could book a new rental etc.

Over the past 5 days, I've made 10 calls, spoke to 10 different customer support executives at SeventyMM and still neither they could resolve my online account issue that is not allowing me to book movies and/or send me movies offline.

Basically, although they acknowledge that the movie that is being shown as "not returned" is actually returned, they are not apparently able to fix the issue with their online system to reflect the same. As a result, I've left high & dry with ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT!

This is pathetic - and I request all subscribers to please be extra carefull with these guys before you actually end up paying upfront for services!

I have written to this company atleast 15 times and have tried contcating them since June 2009
I guess they convieniently take the security deposite and do not refund the security deposite at all after cancellation

Seventymm.com — Non Delivery of Movies, Pathetic Service

My Member ID is 546934. I became member of Seventymm on 8th May 2010 and ordered my first movie on the same day and the movie was supposed to deliver by 9th May 2010. I never recieved any movie neither on 9th nor on 10th I am still waiting for it. I was given one mobile number ([protected]) in case of delay and that number was switched off when it was on nobody was picking up the call. Today when I checked my account then there it is showing Movie delivered. I don't where they have delivered the movie. I am still waiting for the same. Very pathetic service from their side.

I should have read this site before taking subscription. Fortunately I took it only for one month. The promise was to deliver one movie per day. The reality is that at times the movie was not delivered even in 3 days. They prmptly send sms giving a delivery house no. But that no is never picked up. The service is just pathetic. The delivery boy has no time --sometime will come at 2pm and sometime at 9pm. So i[censored] order a movie u are suposed to sit all day and then at the end of the day movie do not arrive. If you call up next day they will tell that you are not found at home. It sucks.

I would like to know whether they can be sued for cheating, poor service, not fulfilling commitments and 420.
Being from Delhi NCR I agree with you with the pathetic service quality of 70mm. The delivery house no is never picked up. What I understood that they did not have the movie I ordered. It is substandard service that made the movie available for order even when it was not in their stock. For 3 days they ritually kept sending sms that movie will be deleived before 8 pm. On 4th day i recd an sms that delivery was cancelled as I was not available at home. I picked up my phone and gave the guy at other ened a piece of mind. These never made any attempt to deliver. I told the guy to send the delivery boy and show me the entry at my society's register. Then I recd a call from their bangalore office. I gave them a piece of my mind as well. After that I had received an apology from their Banglore office. But this is a terible service. I feel pity for those who had taken yearly subscription.
This is a no seventy mm gives while confirming delivery. You are suppose to call this no. in case of delivery. The no is [protected]. Just try this no. This is never picked up. This will tell about whta kind of cheat they are.

Seventymm.com — seventymm - such a big cheats!!

Don't ever subscribe to them, they are cheats!! Whenever I order they send me a message saying that my door was locked, and when I call them they say that there executive has also called me and I was not at my home. Which was totally incorrect I had not gone out of my home since morning at didn't get any call from them. They check the number and address also.

Till now in past three months after trying really hard I am just able to get 3 movies, out of which 2 the DVD had so much scratches, that it was a waste. I guess getting a subscription from them turned out to be such a waste of time, money, and was very frustrating experience.

Dear Sir/maam,

I has taken a membership of DVD rental of seventymm.At the time of enrollement i was promised a gift of three free DVD's.My subscription got elapsed on 16.03.11 and till date i have not recieved the promised DVD's despaite several follow-ups frommy side and several false assurances from their side.

Please advice.

Seventymm.com — Non delivery of DVD

I am a member of seventymm.com with member Id: 582153.During first two months of my subscription DVD's where delivered regularly at my place.fater two months any dvd i booked was not delivered and i am getting a message we failed to deliver the dvd.I called up their call center they said please contact warehouse.warehouse guy told me that please contact the courier guy.courier guy said he cannot deliver at my place please speak to the warehouse,then the warehouse guy told me that courier guy has changed so he cannot deliver the DVD please ask for a refund.then ultimately i called the call center he said he cannot make the refund please give alternate address.
As a result two months of my subscription has been wasted.

Now they are calling me to renew the subscription.if they had any delivery issues with my address they should have informed at the start of the subscription.

Seventymm.com — credit card fraud

3 months ago I paid 50 Rs & registered at seventymm.com. I received a faulty movie cd after 2 weeks. I requested another movie which I received after another 15 days. I told the customer care that I want to deactivate my account & cancel the account. but after 25 days they charged me 1499 Rs without informing me. since last 3 months I am following seventymm.com customer care through e-mail & contact no. but till date I have not received yet my 1499 Rs. & I am wasting my money on telephone & e-mail daily. seventymm.com customer giving commitment that "they will soon refund my money " since last 3 months. my seventymm.com id is 598796.

I am requesting seventymm.com to refund my 1499 Rs immediatly.

Seventymm.com — Library doesn't have movies that is shown in the list

I might sound too harsh but i'll have to make a point here, your entire movie rental library is a FRAUD. I don't think you ever had that movie, you just have the poster on your website.
The reson being my wishlist is always a wish and the movies are never available even after montha ans months of waiting. All you respresentatives do is out a alert on it (which I myself can do). or ask me to check between 7 and 9PM. But it is again the same story.

Please take a look at the issues I have raised and also the dates, how can movies be unavailable for such a long period? And all the reresentatives just copy-paste the same everytime.

I am tired of this and can no longer take it.

I don't think you guys are doing justice by not having the movies of my choice and the service you had promised to offer.
I would like to CANCEL my subscription and want a REFUND by deducting the amount on a prorated basis for the so called service that you have given me so long.

Seventymm.com — Filthy service. Customer care has deaf hears

The Seventymm.com ad's and website, was pretty inviting. I browsed through the contents and saw many of the movies of my interest were available for pickup.

When i expressed my interest, I started receiving atleast three calls a day to go for the membership and enjoy the benefits. They even lured me saying that, i'll be getting complimentary DVDs ( 12 in number ), 4 Hollywood, 4 Bollyhood and rest 4 to be blockbusters. On top of it, they said, i'll be getting encyclopedia as well.

On completing the payment, the people to whom i spoke over the last few days, didn't bother to answer my call. Then the game started. Whenever, i used to reach them from other mobiles or land lines, they used to say, that the person has gone for break or he's out or hasn't come to office etc.

Neither did i get any DVD's, nor was i happy with the service. I had ordered Band bajaa baarat on June 2nd. Then, I ordered 'Phas gaya re obama' on June 4th. Well, i got the DVD, but i got stuck. The DVD was not picked up till July 14th. I had called up the customer care to pick up the DVD, but that request always fell on deaf hears. I was so distressed with the service, i decided to cancel off the membership. But, when i called up to cancel the membership, they said " Sir, you have a DVD with you, unless, we pick it up, we can't cancel your membership. ", I've now placed over 11 calls, just to pick up that filthy dvd and cancel my membership, which hasn't taken place till now.

The entire seventymm.com members are cheats and useless fellows. Every other customer care guy said that he/she is taking this request on priority and i'll be getting a call in next 24 hours for the cancellation of membership. Well, i'm still waiting for over a month and a half, yet no sign of the call.
Some one should take action against such fraud companies! Lets help others by showing these fraud companies for what they are and prevent other poor people from getting victimised!

Seventymm.com — Not giving back my refund amount.

I had register for 1month trial offer at seventymm.com with an refundable amount of 899- Rs.
Now as my trial period is over and I have requested for cancellation of my account and ready to give them back their dvd which they had rented me. Yet they are not accepting my request, despite requesting more than 20times.

Seventymm.com — Late delivery of order and non delivery of promised freebies

I ordered two T shirts from the Seventeemm.com, worth Rs. 556/- on phone, since they informed me that instead of ordering on website, it will be easier and I have to pay cash on delivery. Further as displayed on website as well as confirmed by Company representative, they have promised for DVD gift set for purchases worth above Rs.500/-. The time period promised to deliver was 7 to 8 days.

The order was placed on 14.12.2011, and confirmation sms was send to me with order no 37456 against cash delivery. First delivery was on 23.12.2011 and only one T - shirt was delivered. I was unable to understand why only one T shirt was delivered, i called up helpdesk and they informed me that within 5 days balance order will be delivered, I paid money for and took the delivery. Next delivery was on 2-1-2012, and again only one T shirt was delivered and now they have received entire payment but I still have to receive my freebie ie DVD set. They inform me that the same will be delivered within 5 days. But, after one week or so there was no sign, and I wrote a email to them on 16.01.2012 for their dismal services, to which they called me up and assure to deliver the DVD set within 5 days, but still they have not delivered. I had ask them to take the T shirts back and return my money if they cannot adhere to their promises but no reply from them. Now it is 13.2.2012 ie 2 months and still no reply ?

Such a pathetic and cheating experience.

I have purchased devante tab from seventymm.Com through mobile . So I received damaged tab.I have returned to replacement dated 9 august 2012. But they are not returning my product..I have do alot of calls and e-mails. But not response yet...

i ordered a phone on 30th september & they hadn't send me yet.20 days gone but whenever i phoned they said your order will come tomorrow.i phoned them atleast 15 times but they have nothing to say.so i want that some fine must be put on seventymm.com or any benefit must be given to me.so that in future they doesn't do ths again.
