[Resolved]  Shravan Gas Services — Inordinate Delay and Strongly Suspect Foul Play / Black Marketing / Short Charging

We come under the Bharatgas distributors - Shravan Gas Services, CBI Road, RT Nagar, Bangalore-32.

Not only us, but all the subscribers in our area have not one but many problems with their pathetic service
1. First of all it is a tedious task to book a refill as getting through the busy or unanswered phone lines is in itself a miracle.
2. As a standard, they would say the refill would take 10-12 days, but as expected there will be no signs of delivery even after 20-25 days and one need to follow up with several reminder calls
3. When you remind the people is when you get the real shocker. Their records indicate we have already taken delivery of the cylinder some 10-15 days back, and they express surprise that the cylinder has not reached us. They offer to book cylinder again or promise to deliver the same day.
4. After step 3, If you are lucky, the delivery person would knock on you within 1-2 days, of course he has no bill or identity. He would simply say, the bill is left in the godown or office or just stay mute with a sheepish smile. Further, we have to pay up whatever the person quotes without even seeing the bill.
5. The delivery persons are apparently hand in glove with the agency staffers in diverting the genuine consumer bookings to commercial use via black market. The delivery person would further insist on taking the refill order directly on his mobile instead of we having to go through the pain of calling the agency office, of course he would charge an extra amount without bill.
6. Now, what is the guarantee that a cylinder without a bill or coming from the hands those involved in black marketing is filled to capacity.There are obvious chances of short charging the consumer of 2-3 kgs lesser which would easily fetch Rs.100-150 in the black market, and there are so many illegal gas vendors openly using domestic LPG for autorickshaws and small gas-stoves.

I wonder how a reputed public sector company like BPCL is unaware of the illegal happenings at their dealerships despite repeated complaints in these consumer forums, or they just turn a blind eye as they them selves are being benefitted by these dealers offering the company supervisors handsome kickbacks.

I wonder how do we get justice or we just go on venting ire online??

They never take booking itself.. They normally take 45 days for each refill
