I got a letter from social welfare society for membership.i have written in my application for the post of NODAL OFFICER but in their membership letter post name is changed and the post is DISTRICT PROGRAMME OFFICER.Also they REQUEST me to send a DEMAND DRAFT of Rs.4050.00 as membership fee in favour of "SOCIAL WELFARE SOCIETY" payable at GUWAHATI at SOCIAL WELFARE SOCIETY,HOUSE NO-1,NABAGRAHA ROAD(WEST),SILPUKHURI,GUWAHATI,KAMRUP(M)ASSAM-781003 on or before 27th AUG,2012 Their contact nos.[protected],[protected] website www.socialwelfaresociety.com Govt reg. Under Act 1882 and Reg. Hi.. I am also really confuse, as i am also appointed for Block Supervisor at Socialwelfaresociety. BUt the reason they asked me for security deposit Rs.3850 by last 29th oct, It really confusing. Bcoz the payable adddress is at Kolkata. At what basis i can believe that the Money i shall be sending, they will response to me... please suggest me... what might be their objective...

Its a fraud organisation... dont understand why dey dont allow others to visit their office... According to them dey dont hav office at guwahati, but only call centre...

Same thing is happening with one of my neighbor (female) who directly got appointment letter without any kind of exam, viva etc. Here too they demanded a DD of Rs.4050. They say that the candidate has been selected on merit basis. Why don't they, at-least, have a viva interview. It will not cost much. There are thousands of talented candidate searching JOBs. This comp/NGO/SOCIAL SERVER etc... may get a better one. Also, if they had found someone SO TALENTED, because only by seeing the biodata they got selected, than why the comp/NGO/SOCIAL SERVER etc... is asking to pay some RS.4050.. Remember, when we get something that we need, we pay for it, we don't ask it to pay.. SIMPLE.. Be careful, don't waste your money. To get a job is not impossible but it is not SO EASY TOO.
Till now the training schedule is not displaying, hardly 14 days left as told me over phone that the training will be held from 20 of December.I want positive result from your side whether your Social Welfare Society Regd no 9955 is [censored] or Not.

I got an Offer Letter(Ref: SWS/0318/DPO/AS Date:03.10.2012) seeking DD of Rs.4, 050 as a Security Deposit in Favour of SOCIAL WELFARE SOCIETY payable at Kolkata at SOCIAL WELFARE SOCIETY, 9Thakurbari Road, Opp.Lake Market, P.O.Kalighat from SOCIAL WELFARE SOCIETY, 9, Thakurbari Road, Kolkata-700026 for the Post of DISTRICT PROGRAMME OFFICER.Even I had sent the Xerox copy of that Offer Letter including DD indicating my acceptance before 10th Nov.2012 to reach in time.But I'm too much frustrated for not having any single information either in their website or else.It's a great concern for me as well as my career.
