[Resolved]  Sony Ericsson — Unsatisfactory service of service centre.

I am using sony ericsson C510 cell fone bought on 1st april 2009, IMEI :[protected] from the very first day it is not working properly like my previous sony ericsson cell phone, as i am a serial user of sony ericsson cell phones.
The processing speed is very slow, everytime it takes about 2-4 seconds while opening or closing any application. i had got my software updated many times as advised by the service centre people. But when i complaint again and again they just save their skin and say tat it is not hanging up only the processing is slow and there is no solution. I am very much frustrated from this kind off service.

sonyericsson — 45 days of handover of my mobile to service centre, i have not got back my phone

Dear Sir/Madam,

Below mail has been sent to questions.[protected]@support.sonyericsson.com as per customer service told me over phone, but till date i have not received any revert or my mobile from the company

I have bought W380I Sony ericsson model on 23.10.2008 and from day one i have network problem, but i thought the problem with my service provider as i am using an brand new international brand and later found the problem is with my mobile phone.

I went to Sony ericsson showroom and informed about the problem, they have given the Salora address and informed for any service issue i need to get in touch with this vendor, there the problem starts.

Salora is not only doing service for Sony Ericsson they have tie up with other leading brands and Sony Eric customer who is walk in to the showroom needs to wait for more than 3 hours to give a complaint and the service person will on the problem and if problem is major and need more time they will take a complaint and give the service challan. After going to the centre couple of times, finally on 08.01.2009 i managed to find time and gave my mobile for servicing.Complaint id: SES09CHE10109, & Service lodged date: 08.01.09

I have been informed to call Salora after couple of days to collect the mobile, but when i called up they informed that they have send my phone to HQ for changing the mother board and informed it will take 20 days to handover the phone to me.

I called up Salora in between but they said that it will take 20 days, so i have waited till 28th Jan and when i called up they have informed that it will take couple more days. I got frustrated and asked to transfer the call to their mananger, but they have refused to transfer the call. I am really disappointed with the service from the international brand. I never expected this from Sony Ericsson.

Then I decided to call up Sony Eric customer service, agian they have given their complaint no: SE[protected]complaint date: 04-2-09)and asked me to give 2 working days for them to act on the complaint. When i called up Salora on 07.02.09 no body has picked up the phone. when i called Sony Eric customer service on 07.02.09 i got a reply from one of the representative that it will take couple more days. when i asked to transfer the call to his supervisor with lots of hesitation (after informing him that i will log a case) it has been transferred to his supervisor Mr. Jithender.

Mr. Jitherder has asked appology for the delay and said the model no has been wrongly informed by Salora that is the reason for the delay. And when i asked Mr. Jithender to give me a explanation over mail for filing a case in consumer court he has refused to send a mail and he has asked me to send a mail to the above mentioned mail id and refused to transfer the call to his mananger.

I am really disappointed with the service from the international brand. I never expected this from Sony Ericsson. Below are my questions which says the level of frustation i had after buying Sony Ericsson

1) I never thought that an international brand will have such major defect in their product - Is there any check happening on the product which has been released to the customer

2) Never imagined that the service center of an international brand will go for an tie-up with a vendor who is having tie-up with some other service provider of the same industry and takes more than 3 hours to log a complaint for servicing.

3) No follow up has been done by the vendor or Sony Eric (this is the worrying part, as an brand i thought they will be calling up the customer, give me an update and hand over my mobile on time)

4) in case of long delay (i expect a temporary mobile to be given till service is happening for the fault). Even a local brand is providing a stand alone mobile till service is rendered to the mobile bought. but this doesnt happened after buying a international brand i am roaming without phone for more than a month (its really make me frustrate and it is making my day-to-day life very diffcult).- now i am having my wife's phone to run by day to daylife.

I want a compenstation for all the mistakes made at Sony Eric & Salora International and i want a call back from the concerned team and hand over my mobile with all faults rectified on agreed time. i also want a written explanation for the delayed happened.

dear sir, i would like to get into your notice that the service provided by the sony ericsson service center are really disappointing the customers with their responce, i have hand over my sony errison mobile in authorized service center(Siri Communications, Khairthabad, Hyderabad) of sony errison model no.w580i the complain no :286 as the mobile had display problem but when i had approach them to collect my mobile not even they have repaired the problem but also they have broken the mobile panel and removed the keypad which is not conjoined well and are trying to give irrelevent reply when asked about it. later thought they have accepted their mistake and took back the mobile to fix it but still they keep on giving me date upon date to collect the mobile.when i have approched them on certain date which is provieded by them to collect mobile they made me to wait for 3 hours and still there haven't hand overed my mobile yet.

so what exactly do u want me to do???? i hope the required action will be taken as early as possible so that none of the other customers will face such problems.will be hopeing for some respond from you sir.

Another center is at YMCA Complex secunderead with the name ACCEL Frontline

Al least the people at siri are giving reply and picking phone

Mr Kalidas and other persons at Accel Hyderabad are not picking phone also they are not able to search mobile where they had kept it

Sony Ericssion is so reputed but I think they had tie up with fraud people atleast in Hyderabad

i like all SE sets, i had a k750i which ran without problem until it fell and broke. i got a w830i which had prob within 6 months. Two keys were not working. when i went to a service center in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, he denied the warranty saying that this piece is not in production and hence no warranty applicable on it. Then i asked him to check, hoping tat this might be a, minor problem. He asked for2 days to check and when i went after 2 days he said there has to be change in inj/ main flux which might cost 1200/- and it might take 1 week to get that component. Since i cannot afford that much time i came. in the shop i asked abt the scratch they made he is coolly saying when they tried to open it might have come. i could not fight as he dismissed easily.

Hope Sony Ericsson would get this message and provide service offerings to proper shops. there is a disappointing customer service at the Service center at Banjara Hill, Hyderabad

yes above problems are correct. recently(10 days back) i bought sony ericsson w395 model. this model is not good because it is low processing and also the phone will restart again and again when i tried play the songs from filemanager or from walkmann...

finally i suggest to all my dear ones is that don't buy any sony ericsson model... plz pass this information through your known other blogs or through any media. and save them by not buying sony ericsson model mobiles.
I too had the same issue with the service center in Kukatpally. I gave the mobile to the service center as it was charging. The Service Center people said that there is connector problem is there. For that he is charging 450 /-. But after getting repaired about the issue, all the keys are not working. When i asked about what had happend for not working of the keys, he said the keypad connector is gone and a new one is to be replaced. For that around[protected] and a week is required. Sony is a good company but the service centers are worst. Sony should look into this for providing service.

so i am not satisfied much with your services i am trying for past 1month, so i hope you will respond me very soon and waiting for your reply i need all the details about pannel cost and time of delivery.
For the love of god the Sony Ericsson service centre in KUKATPALLY is a total crap. Do not even think of venturing into the outlet i[censored] r out of the warranty period. This is the thing happened 2 me jus a week back.
my w380i has some problem connecting to the charger as well as the headset. I jus went in & handed it over to the guy and the a$$hole jus flipped it back n forth & observed it keenly as if he had some [censored]in' X-ray goggles embedded in his eyes and declared that it wud be 1200 bucks jus to make it reconnect with the charger and unsure if the headset will ever connect again.. I was like [email protected] Do i luk like a schmuck who wud pay watever he qoutes..!!
I handed it over at the Ericsson service centre in Ameerpet. They were really generous. They do on-the-spot analysis & said its jus a faulty connector problem and qouted the estimation of 275/-. I was handed over the mobile the next day and everything is well and good, ...!!

Pl. don't buy Sony ericsson mobile because i am having very bad experince with w910i model. All models are made in chaina. There is no quality in the cells. I am very badly hitted by this mobile. with in one year i got 5-6 times repair eventhough it was not working properly. Servicing centers also not doing well. iam have very bad experience with Khairatabad siri servicing center.That fellow kept my mobile for 1 month for repair and they are telling that they are not getting getting spares.

pl. don't buy sony ericsson mobiles

I assume that this is the delay from the Sony Ercison side, i have used many other mobiles like nokia and the service is excellent.

so what exactly do u want me to do???? i hope the required action will be taken as early as possible so that none of the other customers will face such problems. Looking forward for your response on the same.

My suggestion, dear friends don't buy sony ericson mobiles where the service is really worst :(
