I bought a pack of cookies from Spencer's in J Block Saket, New Delhi on 21st January, 2010.
To my utter surprise I found some small insects when I consumed one of the cookies. One of my friend even ate a whole cookie, and vomited. Everybody who consumed the cookie had some rotten feeling. When we broke other cookies we found numerous such insects in them.
When we went to the store to complain, the store manager was absent and the sales people were acting as if the incident is very natural and offered to replace the pack. We called the Store Manager, but he informed us that he is on leave and will not be able to come to the store to resolve the issue.
We met the Area Manager, Mr. Anurag who instead of being apologetic and checking the rest of the stock told us "Do whatever you can. We will see".
