Spice - D88n dual sim — worst customer service

I have purchased spice dual sim D-88n mobile on 08-Feb-09.
The set is having problem with its mic whenever I talk to
someone, my voice sounds very low to the other side.

I have given my handset to Tagore garden service center on 31-Mar-09.

The person at service center told me that it would take maximum of 15 days
to repair this handset. Since then I have not received any call from them.
I have called them many a times and ask the status.They told me twice that
that the handset has been repaired. But when I had gone to the service center
they told me that the handset is not repaired till yet. I am really disappointed
with the kind of service provided by them. This is kind of service
you are providing to your customers for just a monir problem in the handset.
It is noteworhy that you are taking so much time and giving wrong commitments
which really resulting in harrasment to your customers. It is almost a month
I have not got my hand set back and I don't know how much more time it would take.
But I will never recommened to buy spice mobile phone to anyone after facing
so many issues for a minor problem with a almost new handset.

SPICE D88n DUAL MOBILE — NON REPLACE OF MOBILE

i am harish n poojari i purchace mobile SPICE D88n DUAL SIM CARD Rs.6900.00 on dated : 5/10/2008, from Paragon departmental Stores, 2/3 Raunak Arcade-B, Naupada Gokhale Road Thane (west), 400602, Tel : 25382317/25381547. with 6/12 month company warranty, after 3 month it start create problem i sumbited for repair at Paragon i rcvd after one repair agiain two week it start create problem i sumbited for repair whitin 6 month it was repaired 4-5 time i finaly instet for new handset but they are refuse to give new mobile & they have keep one condition they have ready give new handset after some amount deduction. So iam not agree why becose iapd the amount Rs.6900.00 by cash i have receipt with me. I requiest you kindly solve my problem take strick action this type of store keepr.

My Spice mobile has IMEI number [protected] written on the back of my mobile. But, when I pressed *#060# on my mobile it shows, it shows IMEI = [protected]. I checked both the numbers on http://www.numberingplans.com/?page=analysis&sub=imeinr and found that the one which was written on the back side of my mobile is correct but the one which I got from *#06# is not valid number.

Now, I am getting call on my mobile that my mobile IMEI number is invalid and mobile will get de-activated on 29-Nob.

Please, help me to ractify the problem.

Same thing happened with my handset as well. Is Spice Telecom making fake handsets...??

imei on mobile is printed as:-[protected] where as after dialing *#060# imei no that comes is [protected]. what to do? how to save my phone from being deactivated? Pl. help me!!!

Even i am having same problem for a Spice dual sim D 88n phone which I purchased from Reliance Communication Authorized center. My airtel Sim on this phone is not working now. I do not know whether Reliance UIM will continue to work or not.

Looks like all spice mobile show the same imei number when u dial *#06# because on my spice D-88n i get IMEI- [protected] which even Yog Raj Kaith sees on his cell. can some one also check to see if they get the same number on dialing *#06# . I hope spice telecom is reading these comments, if they are not aware.

It was told that phones with invalid IMEI will not work after 30 Nov 2009 in India, Exactly since 1st December 2009 I am also getting same error as SIM REGISTRATION FAILED for my GSM simcard on my SPICE D88 mobile. No matter whatever company's gsm sim I tried. CDMA UIM is working fine.

My Spice Mobile D88 is bought from showroon with proper bill and box-pack, so I think there should not be a problem about invalid IMEI. But its not what I think. Its what is happening. Is it compulsory that IMEI can be used at a time with only one number? I mean if my mobile is CDMA+GSM both, do I require two IMEI in my mobile?

My mobile shows only one IMEI with *#060#. Any more informaton on this? What should we do now?

Just after five minutes I posted above comment, I visited SPICEMOBILE HEAD OFFICE DETAIL PAGE at http://www.spice-mobile.com/FeedBack.aspx

Called thier toll-free number[protected] and they told me that this is not a handset problem but the IMEI is not updated in database of valid IMEI. So he suggested me to contact any nearby SPICE SERVICE CENTER and they will update the IMEI for both CDMA and GSM database of TRAI and phone will start working within few hours.

I even got address of my nearby service center in Mumbai from same number.

I think evreyone got the idea whats happening.

i am using d88 dual sim ...on 1st of this month my cell shows sim registration failed .after that i called to customer care .the representative given me an address where i have to validate my my imei no. by paying rs 199..i went there then they told me to cm after 2 days...2day i went there he told me that gov. has closed to provide the imei no. what should i do ..yaar who is responsible for this...only the consumer ...itni si bhul ki itni badi saza ...na spice wale sunte hai na koi aur ...
