i bought a spice QT 56 one week back.the battery life is pathetic. it gets switched off after 2 hours of talktime. and then the contacts are not ready even after 12 hours, i cannot reach even a single contact in my phone. handsfree gives an additional noise making it impossible to hear the callers' voice. the service center people say that they will try to repair it. i think this handset is the worst ever, and beyond repair. please somebody look into the matter

I bought a spice mobile hand set Model No : M-5055 from Sun Times vide their invoice No cs1079147 Dt. 11/08/2010 with iIMEI -[protected]. About a Month back my hand set developed a problem and I took it to Mobile seva N0 B-125, 6th 'C' Main Road, 4th Block Jayanagar Bangalore 560 011 on Dt 7/12/2010 who issued me an acknowledgement bearing No 606 dt. 7/12/2010promising me to return my handset after repairing within a week.After a week whenever I contact them over phone Or personally contact them they say the hand set is not yet ready ask me to collect after two days. Their two days has not arrived even after15/16 days.
More than this what is MORE and MORE annoying me is the attitude of the people who are in charge of this Mobile SEVA. I feel they are fooling me;once when they said that my hand set is sent to head office, I asked them where their head office is- one boy employee says that it is in Minerva circle in Bangalore which is hardly 3km from their office, another girl employee says it is in Noida . Not only this incident; in most of my interaction with all the employees of this Mobile SEVA I found that they are not at all sincere/honest with their coustomers and enjoy fooling them.
I do not understand why they should take such a long time to rectify the defects in the hand set manufactured by them ? Is it because my hand set is in within the warranty period?
Do I really get any response to this mail Or should I think of alternative method - say going to consumer court ? Will they extend my warranty by the number of days that my mobile is lying with them un serv iced?

this phone is suffering from display problem from last five to six months & i also gave these phone in a service center for twice, i had also lodge a complaint in a spice gallery with service request no:[protected]B90026 but no one giving me a satisfied answer to resolve this problem from my mobile.
my mobile one year warranty is still applicable & but a Service center is also taking a so much of time to resolve these problem & due to single phone i have to face several problem & i have to Miss a several phones calls during Repairing Period.
Kindly do the Needful & let me Know what to do in these Case.

i am from orissa . my name is manoj . i have purchase the spice mobile model no.MI270.in last dashera . but after 4 month use i face problem, , the service center person told me to change the display, as it was in warranty period the new display has been replaced with in the time period . but after 2 month i face the same problem and again i went to the service center and they told me the same thing that you have to change the display again . and that is in without warranty.. then i give my mobile to be repaired . the time line is 10 days and the expected cost is 850.00 . but till now after 2.5 month i do not get my mobile back . when ever i asked to the service center they simply replay me that they donot have the parts for this mobile even in kolkata also .
BUT SOME QUESTION IN MY MIND THAT;
1. IS SPICE TECHNICALLY SOUND FOR THE MOBILE SEGMENT?
2. IS THE DISPLAY IS SO EXPENSIVE THAT THE MOBILE COMPANY DOES NOT ABLE TO AVAIL IT?
3. WHEN I CHANGE MY DISPLAY IN WARRANTY THE COST IS 450.00 BUT WHEN IT IS IN WITHOUT WARRANTY THE COST IS 850.00 ... WHAT IS THE LOGIC BEHIND THIS 400 .00 RUPEES ?
