We were holding above mentioned credit card of company. Due to misguiding Information by your marketing Person we purchased Titanium card than cancelled. We are holding account wit you under LOAN INSTALLMENT & still 3-4 Installments may be pending.

In past for no fault from our side Late fees were charged & on complaining it was waived. This time again Late fee is charged saying my cheque was 1 day late. since many year we were using your card and many time we have made payment on due date (even holding card of other company & some times we makes payment on due date to them also) no penalty was charged as now we are not your customer rule changed?

Any way we have paid that penalty.
We strongly request you to give us contact details of credit bureau of India so we can register our complain & our problems with them. Every time you gives us warning for credit rating, we can also contact them for your rating with all details we have with us

All Giant corporations including your company have made policy that how long a small ordinary person will fight with us? After some fight they will surrender us even though Customer is right? UNFAIR BUSINESS PRACTISE.

In past due to misguided Information from your marketing executive dispute arise & looking Matter Company waved all falsely charged penalties NOT TO FAVOUR ME AS CUSTOMER.

This time as per fine print rule it was my mistake. I made one payment by cheque on 27th and my due date is 28th THERE WAS NO WRONG INTENSION TO MAKE PAYMENT ON 27TH.In next bill penalty was charged saying LATE FEE-WHICH I PAID ONCE I CAME TO KNOW ABOUT FINE PRINT RULE. In past when I was your card holder many times I have done payment on 27 or 28th
But co never charged me penalty.

Also all off sudden company asked me to pay all balance installments which I have to pay every month under “Instabuy” Why? When a person takes Installment option? And when I was paying all installment payment in time than why all of sudden you asked me all remaining installment?
I called customer care and told why I have to pay balance installment in single payment? Didn’t got satisfactory reply. So I sent email to card service from there also I didn’t have any reply. I was & I am waiting for reply to clear the matter but instead of reply from concern people again I got letter giving me warning to “Deterioration of credit history” why?

AGAIN IN NAME OF LATE PAYMENT YOU WILL CHARGE ME LATE FEE & INTEREST. IT IS NOT RESPONSIBILITY OF THE COMAPNT TP CLEARFY ME QUERY OR PROBLEM? EVEN HIGHER AUTHORITY DIDN’T REPLY ME THAN WHERE I HAVE TO GO? WHAT TO DO?I AM HELPLESS.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE WITHOUT COMPLICATING THE ABOVE MATTER HOW WE CAN SOLVE THIS DISPUTE FAIR MANNER? Please waive the penalties & interest charges (think I am surrendering the company- as I am ordinary person busy in fighting for day to day survival) and even apologize for all my fight for my rights done with company. Once I am getting final justice from you I will make payment of balance installments to close this chapter forever. Now company to decide Justice or no Justice- as I have no choice to save my credit rating.

This is to your kind notice that I, V.V.Ramana Murty, is one of the Credit Card holder of your bank Since 2001. I want to bring one point for your kind consideration. Rs.500/- Over limit fee & Rs61.80/- Service Tax debited to my account. Regarding this please consider my points.

1. At the time of Rs.45, 000/- purchase from Omkar Enterprises, hyd. my credit card account is having the balance of Rs.45, 242.16/- (Rs.45, 000/- is my credit limit + previous month excess paid amount).
2. Before going to purchase also I had given a call to your phone banking officer and once again I checked the available balance to purchase. At that time after enquiring my details also he stated that available balance amount is 45, 242.16/-.
3. After purchases, I received a SMS from your bank that your purchase exceeds your credit limit. Immediately, after it I had given a call to your phone banking officer, for confirmation. At that time also after verification, he tells that there is no excess purchase over your limit. There is no OVER LIMIT FEES also.
4. Now, I received the statement and it is found that Rs.500+Rs.61.80/- is debited to my account. Pl. reverses it. & check my Feb., 2008 statement for available credit.
5. One more point for your information, while converting the purchase amount into EMI, at that time also I verified this point with your staff & satisfied.

So, I am requesting you that please verify my account from 2001, there is No delay, No late payments, and No over limit usage also. From time to time, I am paying an excess amount more than the required amount (u pl. verify statements also). Please verify my account and reversal the amount. I want my statements to my E-mail Address: [protected]@yahoo.com

Finally, if you are not interested to reversal of the same. Please cancel my card and debit total amount to my card. I am ready to pay and I want to close the SCB CARD.

Dear sir,
ATTENTION CREDIT CARD DIVISION
Sub : Decision requested

1. As you are aware, I am a Standard Charted credit card holder with the following details:
a.SME business card-[protected]
b.SCB Titanium card-[protected]

2. I received my Aug 08 bill to be paid by 04 sep 08 for an amount of Rs. 29856=18p. Since it had Special Merchandising offer, on my wife’s name, I sent her cheque for the above amount on 23-08-08. I just cross-checked form your Customer Service Department (CSD), on 03 sep 08 whether the amount has been received. To my surprise, I came to now the cheque has been returned by the bank due to variation in the signature. Immediately, on 04 sep 08 I sent my cheque for the same amount, which I found later, has been encashed. Your CSD also confirmed that it will not attract a penalty. On my request, a copy of the cheque was also returned which I checked with the banker and found instead of writing “ ” my wife has signed with this “ ”. I really regret for this error.

3. Now, when I received my Sep 08 bill I noted that I have been penalized Rs 350/- as late fee and Rs 300/- for the return of the cheque. When I contacted your CSD, firstly it was told that these cannot be reverted and later on, a second contact, they said the late fee can be reverted and not the return of the cheque charges. Anyway, I have cleared the whole amount on 29-09-08.

4. I am your customer for a very long period with a very clean track record. I agree it was a mistake on our part and does not attract such heavy penalty. As brought out above, I took immediate action to correct it. You may please note that I did not ask for either TITANIUM or BUSINESS card myself. Due to my good record, these were offered to me and I paid lifetime charges also for these cards. Later, I was also offered Rs 44, 000/- loan at a small interest rate that I did not take, as there was no requirement. All these goes to prove that I have no bad intentions to delay payment nor there is a big fund requirement from my side to delay your payment. I am sure in your heirorky there must be a provision or Competent Financial Authority to condone this minor error and revert back to me the heavy penalty of Rs (350+300) and service charges if any imposed on me.

5. I request you to kindly re-consider and take a favorable decision for my request to revert the penalty imposed in Sep bill in Oct bill. Thanking you in anticipation.

SUB: Request for improving your service and professionalism.

It is a pity the way your bank operates and I believe it would even sad to see the principles and policies which run an instituion like yours. And its is a real shame on people like us who have to use service of Banks like yours.
My words arise from the bad service and irresponsible attitude shown by your entire team of Credit Cards division.
My card had an outstanding of Rs.500 despite the amount being paid in time. When I asked for details as to why I was charged the late fees I was not responded back by your team.
I had to travel out of India and was not able to followup on the request. Surprisingly after 6 months your team sends a mail saying an amount of Rs. 5000 is pending in my name. And now I have been told that my name has automatically gone to the defaulter list and will be removed only when I pay the outstanding amount.
I would have paid any outstanding amount had I received a proper and timely communication from your team. Inspite of that the late charge and fees kept on increasing over months while I was waiting for a response from your team.

However that would have left your bank with no oppurtunity to blackmail a customer who had made all the payments in time.
When you send a customer's name to the Deuafulters list there should be a proper communication that you are being defaulted, and not a blackmailing attitude.
I know your Bank will not improve it is us who have to stop using services from banks like yours.

I had a Credit Cards of Standard Charted bank.My CC no are [protected] and [protected].I Have instructed your Coustemer care for Closing of this account in[protected] only.I am not using these cards since 2006 and i have not received any statements from that period.

The Bank which you cant Trust, Never Ever take Credit Card from SC, Standard Chartered..A FRAUD..pls dont use, Worst service, false promise, never go stanchart, Late Payment fee fraud by Standard Chartered... All comments are 200% true.. Guys my humble request -- Its a fraud bank.

Booked flight tickets, coz EMI offer was there on SC credit card. Taken 7500 (3 Months EMI) Done with the payment, My mistake was i paid 1 late EMI.. Hmmmm Then movie starts, Charges again and again, they were saying that late payment interest.. for Rs 2500 interest i have paid Rs 6500. That means total 7500+6500 = 14000.

Worst bank, Pls pls pls dont go with this bank.
