i have a huge complaint against standard chartered credit cards as i had done the settlement for the credit card and closed the card about a year and half but now after these many days i get calls from the customer care depaptment to pay them the amount balance which is of about 3500 rs and when i ask them to explain why should i pay then they say that i had not settled the entire amount where in i had gone to one of the credit card branch and called the customer care dept from the phone in the branch and they confirmed that i had to pay off 15 k and my credit card will be closed and i did the same but now they come back to me to pay them more and when i told the customer care rep that i will not pay the amount she started threatening me, the customer care department for the credit cards are worst, they dont speak proper english and they dont have a good language to talk to people, they harrse people, when i asked for explaination to why they dint call me for soo many days the explanation i get from the customer care rep is she was tring to get in touch wiht my mom and get my mobile number and after that they kept calling me and i dint receive any call from them, please help me i am too tenced cause of them, please give the highest contact of the standard chartered credit card dept so that i would be able to talk to them directly and sort out this issue

Standard Chartered Credit Card — not refunded

Dear Sir ,

I am availing ad on service of Standard Chartered Credit card as per terms & Condition if customer is not use ad on service in this situation customer should claim refund of 70% charges paid during the year in the above situation during the year i am not availing any service & claim a refund but standard chartered bank not refunded my money back and they never communicate me this period.

Standard Chartered Bank Credit Card — wrong billing and threatening messages

Have called Standard chartered call centre to cancel my credit card on June 7, 2011 because of wrong billing and unauthorised charges. The person the call said they will take 9 business days to cancel the card and the charges will be reversed. This is not happen for one month. Called them again on July 7, 2011 to cancel the card as again wrong bill was again sent. The person on the call said they will again take 9 business days. However, they have started sending threatening sms since that day. I receive the sms everyday sayign i should make the payment to avoid additional charges and prevent collection calls. This is hindering my peace. Inspite of wrong done on their side they are still sending the threatening sms to me.

Now i want them to pay me for disturbing my peaceful life. The sms are still continuing. Complaint no logged by me is 775392 & 775472

Standard Chartered Bank — harresment for recovery --- without clue

Today in the afternoon , at around 2.30 pm i recieved a call from Ms Malancha dasgupta ( calling from SCB) . she informed me that i have a due with the bank and my outstanding is Rs 18152/- and i need to pay it up by tonight to tomorrow .I was taken back , i did not recollect having used a SCB Credit card for the last 6 to 7 year. so i told her that i don't recollect having any due , then she told me that this is a due from 1999 and with intrest it has come to this figure. I told her i do not recollect the happenings of 1999 and if it was due so long , why did the bank wait for 12 yrs and call me now, they should have send me a letter stating the due in my permanent address which they did not. i told them that i would still pay up if the provide me with the documents stating my dues which they said they will not provide as i am a skip customer, as i did not update my records with the bank. Now why do i update my records with any bank where i do not have a a/c or transaction as per my record.Fyi i changed city with job change, however my permanent address is still the same for the last 30 + yrs

I Mr bhuralal ambala kothari wants to inform you that you have given my name as a credit card defaulter in the website of cibil pls can you explain us why did you have put my name in the name in the webite since i never used any credit card if your records shows then pls give us the proof of purchase made through my card. since i never asked for a card but if my bank may have given a card for opening a current account with them.if in your records it shows that i have purchased any any items so pls send me the invoice for the same. waiting for your positive reply

SC Bank Saving Account — SC saving account hold

Dear Team,

I’m holding a saving account (A/c No. [protected]) in SC Bank from last 8 years, recently my saving account in hold without any communication with me, I’m not received any communication like phone calls, SMS, e-mail or later from SC Bank.

Due to this my October month salary has been rejected and I facing financial problem after many communication with SCB customer care / relationship manager / service manager of NFC branch Delhi. my problem still not solved from SC Bank.

Please reactivate my account and resolve the problem immediately, so that salary can be deposit…

Hope my problem will resolve....

Standard Chartered Credit Card — closed credit card

i was given a credit card as a default being the member of the cuttack club and was told it is free of any annual charges, after one year they send me a bill for annual charges which i didnot pay and objected after which i cancelled the card and dropped the card after cutting it into the drop box.i applied for a car loan which writes my civil status to be defaulter in st chartered credit card ,
now how do i manage this situuation and where can i file for unnecessay harassment

When I opened smart savings account when Standard Chartered Bank on 16-Nov-2011, I got smart savings kit. Though they say its as an instant account but still my account is not yet activated. Its been 15 days. Its really frustrating.

iam sripathi rao holding crdit card of standards chatrerd bank visa master card no [protected].
thsi compalint is ,ihave deposited my payment of rs 1206 vide chequeno 0033804 dt[protected] drawn on statebank of mysore in deisgnated drop box mentioned by bank.
i regrt to note that my payment has not been creidted to my acoount for which bank has charged rs 700 as late payment charge for no fault of mine.
this is happning for me 3rd time in one year.now irequest you to credit of rs 700 which you hv debited in my card.
alsoi request you to stop cahrge for platinum payment ..
i hopr the bank will take necssary measurement regarding my compalint

I Manda Moshe one of the credit card holder of your Bank during the year 2006. I had utilized both Main ( Card No. [protected] ) and add-on card ( [protected]). At the time of closing the credit cards around the year 2006 or 2007, your SCB credit card statement ( I thought it was the last statement at the time of closing the cards) dtd. 20/10/2006, which shows the balance of main card was ‘Nil’ and the add-on / supplementary card balance was Rs.7,311.54/- . At that time I was fully paid the balance amount to your Franchise collection office which was located in Vizag and cutdown the card in to pieces and dropped it in the credit card drop box. Recently I had received a mail from you wherein I could found balance of Rs.41,884/- was pending against SCB add-on Credit card. Why did you show the balance even after closed the cards.

I request you please verify the records of your franchise branch at vizag and rectify the above amount and close the account. Again I request you please register a call back request to discuss with the concerned executive.

I need a help for my issue in SC bank. I am using my sc card for past 6 years. Now i had a worse experience with the service. I dont want to brief it in public forum(because dont want to spoil the bank name because of some irresponsible call center agents/staffs) Could some one help me to get the head office or higher authority number to whom i can directly speak and solve my issue with standard charted bank. i, Amarjeet Arora having credit card of stand. charted bank, u have provided me the amt. of 31000/- rs. for 3 months, which i had repy on time, stand. charted bank has transfer my money to the other a/c, when i made the call that why are you demanding money, where as i had paid the amount, they then settled the amount in correct a/c, now i am getting sms that my card payment is overdue, i am not having any card ending no. 822, when i call at stand. charted bank while getting verification they demand for e mail ID registered by me at the bank, as i do not remember the ID, i had registered as i am using the other email id, other than that i am providing them with my mob. no., address. i ask them to please tell me the bal. amount i want to settle down the matter, either there is not my mistake. but they tell that provide your email id only then we will proceed, i want to settle the matter, but the people attending call on behalf of stand. charted bank do'nt co-operate.
i am getting harassed by the bank by getting sms, i do'nt want to contiue the services of the bank, only want to settle down the matter. but as i do'nt know the card no. ending with 822, & even dont know the amount to pay, & the bank will continuously add charges as late payment charges, i am helpless

hi my name is prakash kumar sarangi.i am having a salary account in SC bank.and also having a Titanium Credit card ending 3400.this early morning at 2.31 Am i got a message thank u for using sc credit card no. ending 3400 on 09/05/13 for USD 743.02.call 66011166 for EMI elegiblity on amount above 5000 t&C apply.card is with me and now i am in an enterior place in haryana where no card is accepted in any outlet.how i can use this card at 2.31 Am.i was sleeping in my hotel.i tried to call the phone No provided behind my card delhi No[protected], and also banglore No[protected] but these Numbers are invalid.when i called the No Provided in the message 66111166 it is asking all details like card no, date of expiry and also CVV no then i suspect and cut the Number.help me out this time i will discontinue this card and use my HDFC platinum card which i was using since 3 years and i was satisfied and never happened such incidence.
