[Resolved]  Star Cj Alive — Cheating by "Star CJ Alive" team

Dear Sir/Madam,

I had placed an online order for a pair of Tyche Mink blanket with "Star CJ Alive" on dated 30/1/2012 vide order # [protected]. As a special promotional offer or may be a well planned trap laid by seasoned crooks, as broadcasted on the TV, it was a buy 1 get 1 free offer with a Ladies handbag worth 1250/- absolutely free. I had placed the order with one of their representative over the phone. I asked the representative why that item is not displayed on their website http://www.starcj.com/ and I was told that it’ll updated on their website in next 24-48 hrs which never happened till date . I'd availed the cash on delivery option and finally received my product last Friday i.e. February 3, 2012. I paid the whole amount in cash to the delivery boy vide invoice #[protected] dated Jan’30th, 2012.

We were happy to receive our product, but that happiness didn't last long. We opened the packet and were really shocked with what was their in the packet, it was not at all what was broadcasted on the TV. The blankets were of inferior quality with pungent smell emanating out of it and the free ladies handbag was similar to that of roadways bus conductor’s bag worth Rs 50/- .

I immediately called up at the number listed on their website and reported the matter with one of their representative Sonia, who was again very unprofessional. I asked her for the supervisor and was placed on long hold and finally told that someone will get back with me in 24-48hrs and that never happened till date. I asked for her last name, which she never provided, asked for her employee ID which again she didn’t reveal. I insisted for Supervisor, but never got transferred. All that I got was a complaint number which she told me is the same as my order # [protected].

I ordered the blanket as I am expecting some guest next week, my mother in law, her son and others and also recently I am blessed with a new member in my family, 4 months old baby angle and was feeling the need for an extra blanket and unfortunately became victim of “Star CJ Alive” team of crooks as I got trapped into their well established scandal, as it seems to be.

I ordered the blankets for my guests and now as the date is approaching I am feeling so helpless now as I am getting no response from “Star CJ Alive” team, team of crooks, operating big racket and exploiting numerous innocent consumers like us, as many o[censored]s never report back such incidences.

Further, I am really shocked that their no complaint/feedback section on their website and we are totally on the mercy of their team of crooks, well trained to give one or the other excuse every time any victim of their calls in to have their concerns addressed. They give us all kind of false assurance/commitments and play with our emotions and exploit us.

I am raising this concern in this forum to pass this message to the team of crooks running such rackets, indulged in scams which seems to run into crores of rupees or even more, that we still know our rights and can’t take this uncalled for exploitation at their hands like this any more.

Please help me and many like us who are victims of such crooks, enemy of entire nation as they damage the clean image of the nation as whole, by mercilessly exploiting its nationals and foreigners every other second.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Today I got a call from some Yusuf Khan of Star CJ. The # he called me from is [protected]. he was showing nothing but attitude throughout our 5 minutes of conversation. All that he told me is that they will pick up the product under consideration in next 5 days and will refund the money in 7-8 days once the product is picked by them. I told him that I paid the amount in cash and so I need my money the same day the product is picked up and he said that is not possible and hung up.

now, it is more than 2 weeks since I received the actual product and this is the only call that I got at their end and still nothing.

what is more surprising is that every time I called I spoke with the same representative named Sonia which again trained to repeat the same thing over and again "Someone will get back with me in next 24x48 hrs". Apparently, I am in total dark as to who is the right person I should talk to or what number I should call up to raise my concerns. I tried the number stated above, the number I got a call from this morning, and to my surprise the incoming to this # is barred.
