Dear sir,
I acknowledge the receipt of your mail and noted the remarks given by you. Please refer my mail wherein I have specifically mentioned the details of the transaction. The ATM card was used by my father who is using ATM Card since last 3 year and he does need anybody assistant to assist hi. I have mentioned very clearly in my mail tha my parent used the ATM cum Debit card on 01.07.2009 at Bada Chowk, Giridih SBI ATM and punched PIN with withdrawal amount Rs. 1,000.00 to draw. After putting the withdrawal amount, SBI ATM was showing link failure. They pressed clear and cancel to cancel the transaction. Hence, they left the ATM counter without withdrawing the amount. Same day, they visited another counter to withdraw the amount and found that Rs. 20,000.00 debited to their account. One person entered alongwith the security guard and presuming that the person entered alongwith security guard is of Bank, hence not objected. I have repeatedely objecteing that the person shown in the video may have drawn the money who has no relation with us for this transaction.

I am unable to understand the following:
1. How a person can withdraw after link failure?
2. How such a amount can be debited from account without asking the card entry as two times amount required was not collected.
3. How two persons can be allowed at a time?

You are once again requested to kindly investigate in details and find out the actual facts. Also, please arrange to re-imburse Rs. 20,000.00 immediately. Please note that similar incident has reported on the same ATM which may please be noted.

Pl refer to our earlier reply dated 08.08.2009.

We have checked the captioned disputed txn. of Rs. 20000/-. The txn was a successful txn by tx. no.3502 on 01/07/2009 with response code 000 meaning successful transaction. We also confirm that no excess cash was found in ATM on that date. We are enclosing scanned copy of the J P Log for your verification.
The customer smt. rukmini devi has already been informed about the txn being successful. However, as per the photo clips available at the ATM, we also have to inform you that the card was being operated by her husband and some third person has also been seen during the course of txn trying to guide him.

Dear sir,

With reference to above, I would like to bring to your kind notice that the above card is of my mother Smt. Rukmani Devi who is basically resident of Giridih, Jharkhand state, India .
