Dear sir,

This is complaint regarding customer services at yours SBI branch Opera House, Mumbai 400004. It is very sad to say as SBI is our 1 national bank but services provided to customer are zero. When ever we go to Opera House SBI Branch always there is a outlet showing no Out SBI cash will be deposited. Why like this? when all SBI Banks having core banking. Why they always asked us to go to another branch?
We are really feed up with this service of SBI branch Opera House. I have already register complain at there office register but no response yet.

I have received your email and replying to this.

I have really bad experience of doing business with your bank.

Your Ludhiana Branch made too many promises to me to get my business for their own benefits.

I got fed up ringing them to get my statements of the updates on the funds but they don’t even bother to reply the emails or talking over the phone.

After a long struggle Mr. Sumit sent me this email below and he wanted me to reinvest in other mutual funds so he could get some benefits of my investment. I refused to reinvest and told him that I have been having difficulties to communicate with you lot and I don't want to do any more business with you lot.

After a long struggle he redeemed my 3 investments and did not even bother to tell me the market price etc.

Now these cheques I told him to bank in my account in SBI which I arranged with Mr DK Gupta and Anil Verma, and left some money in that account what they told me to keep my account running. DK Gupta told me that there will not be any fees on that account and it will stay open for my Mutual funds if I want to redeem them any time in future and the account will stay active.

Now, SBI Ludhiana is telling me there was no such account, although I have got a cheque book and hand written and stamped account number buy DK Gupta, and they can’t find my account. They could find the old account which I had in Bombay and transferred in Ludhiana civil line, which was done by DK Gupta and now they can’t find it.

What kind of service is this?

I sent many email to Sumit and he does not reply, and don't want to pick up the phone because I am not happy with his service and he did not do what he suppose to do. I am really pissed off this kind of service.
Now they have handed these 3 cheques to my relative and we can’t do anything about them they are useless to me because I can’t bank them. Sumit did not have curtsey to communicate with me to sort this problem out. What a shame I have been nearly 50 years out of India and have seen SBI managers begging us in UK to give them some business and now SBI became a big Bank with the help o[censored]s NRI’s and they don’t care anymore.
Is there any one can do something about this?

SBI — SBI services

I have an account in SBI with Credit Card, am operating this account from years. Last month I have purchased a item using Credit Card. Its almost a month back till know I have not received any bill from SBI, even I don't know the last date to pay the bill. I ringed customer care for so many times but there is no response, they are simply asking us to call back.

What is the solution for this problem??

You have to go in person ; as it might have involve fraudulent activities .

i had gone to your M.M.M. Engg. College campus branch to have a draft of Rs. 1000/- to apply for M.tech in DTU.but the branch refused to issue draft on cash payment .when asked about the reason they told me that due to rush in the bank they do not make it by cash .i found the reason as in appropriate so i went to branch manager asking the same .she told me that due to lack of manpower in the branch they'll not make the drafts on the cash payment.when asked to give in writtenshe refused to give .

i'll like to ask whether is it right to force your customer to have a/c if they have to get a draft from your bank .having lack of manpower or having rush is the problem of ours or the bank ?......are we supposed to suffer for your lack of manpower or not able to handle the rush.

i'll hope that you'll take appropriate action against it and i'll be soon informed about all the actions taken.

I have registered sbi complaints on online one month ago. But till date no solutions in sbi side. I go to my home branch contact the particular person. They tell your query is solved with in 5 days. But till date not responding in sbi side. I have complaint registered no also. please help me. My conduct details given below:

Hi, I needed to transfer this account to Nasik C.B.S. branch and no body at Mehrauli branch was ready to help. This is an everytime harassment at the branch. No body wants to work and when you compalint to the branch manager you are more harassed. Today I went to get help to transfer my account and get my name changed to my married name. Firstly the lady behind the desk refused to find any branches in Nasik saying there are 100s of branches how would I find it you get the code first. When I gave her the exact name of teh branch she said go to the other brancg and pay R. 150/- and get the accoutn transferred. when I complained about this to teh Branch manager Pratap Singh who was not in his cabin for more than an hour. He said "Main kya karu ap unhi se baat karo". What did he mean? Did he mean he is just entitled to get salary and no work. I have taken all the money in my account out and abandoned this account. And will not pay any fee or charges which is SBI's most favorite passtime to levy on the customer and suck their blood.
Hope you do something about that.

Khatri for the same and above subject purpus........this is to sadly known that my activate account at Baroda at CITIBANK.......and sum of geted a service from AMOD proper AMOD ATM service.....and all after i m geted RS--1000 note.........and i have need to rs changes for rural payable purpus and after i went for change in SBI branch......but the bank officer rudly saying that here is not available facility for change....so go out.....and after i m making experince in tired position........

This banks employees have such a rude behaviour, They dont even listen properly what customer is asking for.They have been ignoring me fro last 3 month.

State Bank of India — Treating customers badly

Hi,

I am having savings account (joint account with my father) in SBI. I am using Online banking for transactions. I used to book 5 or 6 railway tickets once in a month. My father is using pass book for viewing transactions. He is going to the branch and deposit/take money using the passbook. While doing the same, the branch officials are behaving too bad since he needs to print passbook. Since I am doing online transfers/purchase the print would need 3 or 4 pages but they don’t have patience at all and they are shouting like anything. If we go to take print on normal hours also they are asking us to come after working hours. One of the bankers shouted in front of all o[censored]s and also told that we should not do more transactions on saving account and asked us to create current account. They are treating the customers badly in Tenkasi SBI branch.

Is there any specific limits for transactions per day/month/year for saving account? For doing multiple online transactions do we need to create current account?

Has anyone realize just how lazy, rude and not-at-all customer friendly SBI employees are ?
I have always dreaded going to the SBI branch, any branch ... pick one and you will find the same kind of ill attitude employees.

I was applying for my passport and as an address proof I required a signed sealed statement of one year. The first time I went to the bank, the operation manager gave me a lecture of how printing it out at the bank is so tiresome and said, "next time you need it, go online, print it and get it here" .. Of course I paid for the print out. Rs.350 for 20 pages (I don't know how they do the calculation).

I need the same statement for the police verification today. So I promptly printed out the statement and reached the bank at 10am. I had to wait for half hr to find out that the operation manager is on leave. Then the branch manager refuse to sign the online statement. He said he had to print it at the bank itself and that can only happen at 1pm.

Now, let me tell you my story; I work for US clients so I end up reaching home at 5am ! So that means I have not had a wink of sleep for more than 15 hrs.

Back to the SBI, I had to finally call up some number given at the bank. Got the regional manager's number, who immediately called the branch manager. We got a very angry signature, but we got it by 11am.

May I mention, the regional manager was very courteous and efficient.

But SBI employees ??? Its like they are trained to be inefficient and rude !!!! By the way, this happened at the Koramangala, 3rd Block branch.
I want to activate my internet banking, I am in shillong & my account is in pune.How can I do this .

The royal sundaram people are detecting the money from my SBI credit card every year for Insurance renewals, so kindly make sure that your officials dont allow to the charge of this year 2012 for Royal Sundaram Insurance Company.We hope this information will be strictly followed by your officials as we are financially out.For this reason i am not paying the SBI Credit card money also.
