[Resolved] State Bank of India — Credit Card Declined | |||
I had applied for a credit card from SBI. They came to my office to collect the application. They called my home as well as office to verify. But it been 6 weeks since all this. When I called their customer care center. The customer care person (Chandini Gupta) told me that she could not locate my application using my form number or my dob or name or mothers maiden name. When I asked her to transfer my call to a supervisor she told me that no supervisors where available and that I could call back. It was 11:00 am in the morning, I told her that I would wait for the supervisors to come back, after holding for another 5 minutes Chandini came back and told me that she has found my application and that it was declined. When asked for a reason for decline she told me that it was because of lack of contactability. I did not understand this as they had already come to my office. Called and verified at my home and cell so what contactability was missing. At this she mentioned that it could be because of something in the forms. I short if this is the service that SBI provides me before I am a card holder I wonder what would happen if I had any problems after I am a card member. I think its good that I experienced it now because I am not going to SBI for atleast a credi card now. And above all all this on there website there is a link to track application https://www.sbicard.com/creditcards/faces/pages/CreditCardTrackApplication.jsp I does nothing. I am using SBI card no. [protected] since 1 year. But now i am facing problems at any kind of purchase. It shows your card is declined. But i do not know the reason of decline of my card. I have no dues to the SBI bank under credit card account even though the card is blocked. I tried for SBI Customer care toll free numbers . But no one recived the call. Please solve my Credit Card problem Immediately.
