Criminal proceedings initiated

CHENNAI: The Economic Offences Wing has initiated criminal proceedings against Sterling Tree Magnum (India) Ltd., and Chromepet Saswatha Nidhi Ltd., for not repaying the deposits collected from the public after maturity.
According to a press release, depositors who have not preferred a complaint could contact the office of the Superintendent of Police (EOW-II), C-48, TNHB Complex, third floor, Second Avenue, Anna Nagar, Chennai 600040. Depositors should bring supportive documents to lodge complaints within two weeks so as to finalise the completion of the case, the release said. Phone: 26220314/26220332.

I HAVE OWNED 4 TEAK TREES IN 9MAY1996 AND TILL NOW I HAVE NOT GET EVEN A 1ST INSTALLMENT .THE MATURITY DATE IS 25.06.2015.THE DETAILS OF APPLICATION ARE AS FOLLOWS; APPLICATION NO. OF 2 TEAK TREE- D 316787 AND ITS CERTIFICATE NO-I 16070 AND OF ANOTHER APPLICATION NO. OF 2 TEAK TREE- D316788 AND ITS CERTIFICATE NO.-I 160 55 I have made many correspondence to the company but to no avail. There has been No response from the company. You may kindly take legal action against the company. I request my due money back from the company .

THE COMPANY HAS NOT MADE ANY PAYMENT ON MY INVESTMENT SO FAR. I HAVE NOT STILL RECEIVED INTERIM RETURNS OF COMPANY OF 6TH AND 12 YEAR WHICH IS DUE.
AN URGENT RESPONSE IS EXPECTED PLEASE.

Sterling Tree Magnum India Ltd., Madras — Non-receipt of Interim payments
Dear Srs,I had bought 11 Teak trees from above company in the year 1997 @ a cost of Rs. 20850/=, vide their Certificate no. Q2347 as per which I was supposed to receive Interim payments in the year 2003 and 2009. No payment has been received till date. Earlier the company used to send its newsletter informing the progress of the project. But since last 8-9 years they have stopped sending even the same. All letters written to their H.O. at Madras have been returned back by Post-office. Later I came to know that SEBI has directed the company to pay back all invetsors, but no paymenst have been received till date.
