[Resolved]  SU-Kam Power Systems Ltd. — Low battery backup of Su-Kam Battery

I have purchased Su Kam Battery 800VA inverter and battery on 25/09/20007 with 18 months battery warranty from an authorised dealer of comapny at Srinagar. Now presently I am experiencing the problem of low battery back up with the Su kam battery.I contacted local service centre in Srinagar regarding this issue but they categorically refused to check it as the battery is out of warranty even I agreed to pay the charges for the same.Then I sent an email to customer care of Su Kam on 20 th December2009 regarding the same problem and they gave assurance of resolving the issue but nothing happened.Now on 16 th March 2010 I contacted customer care executive on phone who told me that the service is chargeable as the battery is out of warranty which I agreed and she assued that the service engineer will attent my complaint no.[protected] after two days.However the service engineer did not attend the problem and I again contacted the customer care executive who told me no support service is available for out of warranty Su Kam batteries.I strongly feel that the Su Kam Power Systems is defrauding the customers with this approach while not providing servicing facilities for the out of warranty products.The product information is as under

I am facing the same problem. This company sells its product but fails to give service. May be consumer court is the best solution. I am ready to give witness against the company

Su - Kam Power System Limited — Low Back up from Inverter

I have purchased a Su-kam invertor in November 2007 . For last two months there has been problem of back up from the inverter. I had made a complain with the 24X7X365 day complain centre of Su-kam on 3rd July 2008 and my complain no is 156402. Even after a number of follow up with the call centre, my complain has not been attended by the company.

The call centre has only replied " we shall get in touch with our service engineer and let you know". No reply has ever come from them. The call centre has taken me a wild goose chase by giving me number of their Pune office which was not a valid number. They gave me number of Navi Mumbai Vashi, which was alway switched off.

How do I get the company to provide me service or should I go to the consumer court.
i loged a complaint to this company on 24.04.09 my compaint no is .[protected] and it is not yet solved this is fraud company any one buying its products will have to suffer.

Dear customer,

Dask Power engineer attended to this complaint on 2.3.1 and found that the problem was with the battery. He recommended you to change the battery which was not needed. Please revert if you have any other problems at [protected]@su-kam.com
unfortunately same problem happens to me as well. only 00:30min backup using sukam inverter (shark)and battery. both was procured 8-months before...ultimately i throw them in dustbin
