[Resolved] Sukhada Housing Society complaint — Ignorance of structural repairs
Dear Sir / Madam,
I, Sophia Allwyn, am an architect by profession. My grandmother who is 75 yrs old resides in the Ground floor of Sukhada Housing society, Arunodhaya nagar, Mulund-East.
The construction of that society is of very poor quality because of which there are too much leakage problems in her house. Not only the walls but even the columns are in bad shape. There are prominent cracks in the columns (pillars) causing direct water leakages. The condition looks so worse that i am worried about the stability of the building. If the cracks worsen internally, it may even cause damage to the whole building as it is the ground floor.
Inspite of complaints to the society, there have been no response. Neither is the society taking any initiative to repair the cracks in the columns, nor is it allowing the owner (my grandmother) to get the repairs done.
Please direct me towards the further procedures and actions as i am afraid that my granmother's house may completely crumble resulting in the total damage of the building.
Kindly reply as soon as possible.
Thanks and regards,
