[Resolved]  Sun Direct DTH Chennai — Bad service

Hi,

I have applied for a DTH connection from Sundirect in Selaiyur. The dealer, distributor and Company i went through to get the device equipped at my home after 4 days of payment and also after several phone calls. After connection I realized that, they dont provide many channels that are listed in their website or brochure.

Customer care number is even worst. You select option for english and executive for Tamil will pick the call. Having a bad time with Sundirect. They speak through the advertisement the truth, that they are provide cheap connections, but with fewer channels and implementation charges are also high. Any sensible solution to this problem is welcome.

Sun Direct — Cheating not by accepting the money and not providing the service

I purchased sundirect dish service on[protected].
Till [protected] i am unable to see the channels for which i have paid
The executives are irresponsible at Sundirect bangalore Vasanth nagar office.
I really lost mony and really frusturated by calling them somany times.
They are not at all picking the phone as well
plz take some immediate action for this

Sun DTH Services — Poor response to customer calls...

3 months before i had a DTH connection from SUN DTH, recently i have to add SET MAX channel with my connection. for that i buy a recharge voucher and called to Sun Direct Customer care helpline of [protected]/[protected]/ IVRS [protected]. All the above mentioned lines are always busy and i couldn't recharge my Top-Up Voucher.

Finally after 3 days time i got the connection, i never expect this type of services from SUN DTH.

In future i belive that this could not happen

SUN DTH — AIR music channels removal

Discontinuing the AIR Channels from 5th May without a notice or information is a big disappointment to us Our choice to go for SUNDTH is for the AIR channels, not accessible in others. I regret renewing my subscription verry recently and encourging my friends to choose SUNDTH just few months ago

SUN DTH — horrible service

my smart card no is [protected] SUN DTH. I have recharged my account on 07 July 10. but so far iam no able to watch the services of SUN Direct. Your customer care executives are not able to give a correct reply as to what happened to the service
If SUN DTH is not able to give proper service, they have to shut up the bloody business and repay the money back to customers immediately. Y at all we should suffer at the cost of our valuable money. Are you not ashamed?

SUN DIRECT DTH service — Poor service

Sir , Iam using Sun direct DTH service from last one year, my smart card no is [protected], the service offered by Sundirect is very very poor, from last one month it is not giving our favourite channels like NDTV profit, TV9, Asianet suvarna etc, etc, we are unable to watch all payment channels which we are paying frequently, this type of worst service is giving by Sundirect from last 40 days, if we called to customer care the answer is it will repaired shortly, our engineers are trying their best . But we still not getting best service from Sundirect, so our request is please if you are going for any DTH service please don't go for Sundirect it is Indias worst service provider please keep away from it

Sun Direct — Service not given properly

This is praveena m from T.Dasarahalli Bangalore-560057, My DTH smart card no-[protected], from lost 1.5 month i have problems in sun direct DTH service, i called to customer care they told, u give the complaint with our dealer near by you, then i go to our area dealer they he didn't give any receipt for the compliant and if i want urgent service he ask for some money, otherwise they come to priority or u call who fix the that instrument they only come and service to you, then once again i called and i compliant again the same problem but they didn't give any proper reply still i am waiting for......................
Very bad customer care and technical people ask for bribe.
Sundirect service in Karnataka:
--> Credit/debit card recharge on sundirect DTH is not working at all (I tried it continuously from October 3rd to 7th, 2010).
--> Customer care people does not respond at all in the evening time.
--> help desk 'nodal officer contact number' which is mentioned on website (sundirect.in) does not exist !!!
--> Customer care opens at 9:15 AM. Before 9 if you call, they will receive the call but no response, no welcome music at all. It will be call charge to the customer himself.
--> The purchase offer may be good. After 6 months of your purchase, Sundirect will remove the channels one by one... I am struggling from past 1.5 years. Cable connection was the best...

Sun Direct — Device upgradation

Sun direct is showing like the device needs to be upgraded for the satellite change. And they will send the technicians to home for free of charge. I have contacted the dealers regarding this, they provided two invalid numbers and they are claiming that these are the numbers of agency the work has been taken.

After trying to these unavailable numbers and I called back to the dealers to report this. They said, If you pay Rupees 250, We will arrange seperate technicians to do this. And we are not the responsible persons for providing unavailable numbers.

Finally, it's very clear that they are playing among themself to get 250 rupees. But sun direct is still claiming that this is completely free.

Sun Direct DTH — No /Poor Sun Direct Services

I want to highlight the issue in service provided by SunDirect for last few months to the customers:

1) Full package Channels not received since August 2010 due to satellite Failure
2) Realignment of dish anteena not done despite continuous requests & 2 visits by contract workers (responsible for realignment)
3) No channels are viewable since last Sept 10 post new satellite installation


Requests:
Correct all the services ASAP as well as increase subscription period for the period service was not received(approx. 3 months)
Or
Please refund money for the subscription time left (Aug 2010 –April 2011) & the installation charges


I do not have any other option to lodge a complaint in consumer forum(on searching of internet I find it is really an easy thing to do) if either of the requests are not fulfilled

MY SUN DIRECT SMART CARD NO. [protected], SIKH VILLAGE, SECUNDERABAD

DUE TO POOR SERVICE, FOR THE LAST 2 TO 3 MONTHS I AM REQUESTING CUSTOMER CARE AND NODAL OFFICER OF SECUNDERABAD TO RE-ALLIGN MY DISH AND IN THIS REGARD, I HAVE SPENT MORE THAN 2 TO 3 HUNDRED RUPEES FOR TELEPHONES, E-MAILS. NOBODY GIVING PROPER RESPONSE OR RE-ALLIGN THE DISH. DUE TO THIS REASON MOST OF THE CHANNELS ARE COMING BUT THE MONEY, WHICH IS IN MY ACCOUNT DEDUCTED.
I REQUEST TO KINDLY TAKE A STRINGENT ACTION AGAINST SUN DIRECT FOR CHEATING THE CUSTOMERS INSPITE OF GIVING ADVERTISEMENTS IN THE TV.

HOPE A STRINGENT ACTION SHALL BE INTIATED AGAINST SUNDIRECT. THEIR NODAL OFFICER OF THIS REGION IS NEVER RESPOND TO THE MAILS SENT TO HIM FOR ACTION.

Sun Direct — request all pls never go for this connection

Dear All,

Pls never go for this sun direct because here the intention is only selling not the service and can never expect it also when ever u call the system will be down and will be asked to call back.

If this continue how will the problem be rectified.

Good ads for cheating but very worst in service.

Really its an pain getting this and spend a lot for ur call in contacting them.

I too face the same problem. Sun direct is now cheating its customers by not providing the required service.

SUN DIRECT / DTH SERVICE — POOR SERVICE

I am Abhay Soni . I have purchased SUN Direct DTH in April 2009. My smart card No is [protected].

From last four months i am not able to see any channel properly. Specially NDTV & Sub TV. I have registered complaint several times in SUN Direct customer care. but every time they told they will send his technician. But nobody will come from last four months.

Every time they make foolish. From last four months they charge full amount but not provide service properly. Sun direct customer care officer & senior person behavior is also not good.

Kindly look into the matter & do the needful action.

Very poor response from SunDirect. I once felt proud that a south indian company is growing towards international reputation; BUT IT IS COMPLETELY WRONG. SunDirect is the worst company to be dealing with and full of fraud. I wish the company is closed.
