[Resolved]  Tata Communications — Tata Communication Broadband disconnected and no refund of money

I renewed my Internet Broadband connection online on13th Feb2010 using their website. On 19th March'2010 i got an intimation from the local cable service provider that my internet connection will be discinnected and I immediately logged a compalint with Tata Communication email id: [protected]@tatacommunications.com. Mr. Ali from customer care department responded that they will look into the complaint on 19th Mar. then

Series of follwoup:
20th March Another customer care executive (Soundarya) responded that they are looking into the complaint.
26th April: Another customer care executive (Nimai) responded that they are looking into the complaint.
9th May: My internet Connection was disconnected.
9th May: customer care executive (Nimai) responded that they are looking into the complaint.
10th May: customer care executive (Ghouse) responded that they are still looking into the complaint.

15th May I asked for a refund of my money.

15th May: customer care executive (Soundarya) responded that they are looking into the complaint.
17th May: customer care executive (Soundarya) responded that they are looking into the complaint.

Till date there has been no update from Tata Communications.

I want a refund of my entire money as I have been following up with Tata Communications since last 4 months.

Tata Communications — Not returning my money as well as lethargic behaviour of the Area executive

17/09/2008.

At the time of acquiring the new tata indicom broad band connection at my current address, I have clearly mentioned the Customer Excecutive Mr. Rajkumar Choudhary (Area: vishrantwadi pune), that after one month I am shifting to my new place that is near by to my current address. That time he had assured me that he will transfer the connection without any delay because feasibility existed there.

I have logged the change of address request to call center.
Now From last 2 weeks I am following Rajkumar Choudhary to transfer the connection to my new address as promised by him, he told me that we will not able to do so because feasibility is not there. I am surprised by his statements that is changing day by day.

At first at the time of acquiring the new connection at my current address he told me that feasibility is also there at my new address. Secondly he told me that no feasibility at my new address. Thirdly he told me that feasibility is there at my new address but port is not available.

And finally he told me that if you required the broadband connection then disconnect the current connection and apply for the new one, then he will install the new connection at my new address

I have called and asked the customer care to check for feasibility at my new address, (executive name is Jaspal). He has given me the reference no :- 1662798 I have paid 4.5 thousand Rupees for 4 months.

He told me that there is no feasibility at new address as well as they will not refund the balance amount.

Problem is with tata communication that they are not having the feasibility then why they are not refunding my balance amount.

I have mailed them the twice that i will register the issue on consumer forum and waited for 1 week, but till date they havenot taken any action.

Now I want to register the case with consumer forum.
Please suggest me what to do next.

Tata Communications — Regarding Payment

This is in regard to complain for Tata Broadband connections.

My user id is [protected]@vsnl.net

I have taken this connection in the month of Aug 08 and paid 4 months advance so that i dont have to pay any security deposit.

Now after completing 4 months, Tata Communication is asking me to pay the amount in advance means. Say i have to pay the march usage by March 16th.

Postpaid means itself that amount should be paid only after the usage of particular product. I had already paid advance amount for the month of Jan and Feb...

But i am not comfortable paying advance amount for the month without the usage. Last 2 months i have faced lot many problems in internet connection after paying the advance.

Tata Communication people say that this is the company policy for Postpaid connection that they have to pay the amount in advance.

I dont understaned how a person can pay the amount without the usage when it is postpaid connection. Even in mobile connection if it is postpaid.. u pay the bill after the usage and there is due date given

but in this case there is due date without usage and prior the month end.

Kindly take the necessary actions.

Tata Communications — I got the broadband from TATA but it keeps on disconnecting....complaints are not heard....this is the 5th day

I got the TATA WIMAX connection installed on 25th March 2009 although I had paid the amount Rs. 3310 as advance for 2 months on 21st March 2009 itself and was promised by the sales executive that it will be done the next day itself. However after getting the broadband on 25th I noticed that it disconnects intermittently every 1 hour. Initially thought of a workaround for it (plugging out and plugging in the network cable) but then called the customer care at around 3-4 AM in the morning. The customer care executive refused to take my complaint at all as i was not in a connection down scenario and instead asked me to contact their email support: [protected]@tatacommunications.com

I wrote email to them but they came back saying that they regret inconvenience and they tried to reach me over phone while i never got any call. They said that their team is presently working on this, however it has been 4 days and no relief while their Turn Around Time is 1 day.

I also tried to call the customer care twice after that and both the times they promised somebody willl call me and visit my place to fix the issue but nobody did.

I also approached the Sales guy Pavan[protected] and the TATA Nodal Officer ([protected]) who were already CCed in my emails but they also seem to be doing nothing with this case.


I am so frustrated as my wife has to work from home most of the times and I work from home at night to cover up my day's work. I just want my money back and all the money I have spent calling their customer care.

Tata Communications — PF withdrawal

I have submitted PF withdrawl form around 3 months ago and the amount is still not deposited in my bank account. My PF account number is MH/BAN/48844/130.

As per the EPFO website, I should get it within 1 month's time.

Please help me get my money.

Tata Indicom Broadband — Doesn't Allow Refund of Advance Payment

Hi..

I started my New Tata Indicome Y-max connection this month. I paid Advance rental for Six Month. But within 10 days My connection is not working properly. So I complained two times about it but regarding this they havn't send any technician yet. So I ask Rajesh in customer care to refund my money and close my connection. But he said there is no policy to refund any advance payment. You must take service for next 6 month.

So plz. suggest me that how can i get my payment back ? Or is there any rule that if i am not satisfied with service than i can't get my advance payment back.

Tata Communications internet services — Refund money!

I have purchased a TATA COMMUNICATIONS broadband connection in Noida on 24 september 2009.i was

select tariff plan 1.5 MBPS.on 25 september network is going too good.my login ID is

S3info_noida.its activated on S3Infotech pvt Ltd. but their LOCAL SERVERS have been DOWN very very

frequently, about NINE TIMES on 26th september.then i was call at your customer care on 29

september.but still 2nd october 2009 they were not responed to me.then i was requested to your

customercare for termination my connection.on 3rd of oct they were accept my request and termineted

my connection.In begining i have paid 2 month Advaced amount which is 6508 (six thousand five

hundred eight rupees).i dont get my money on till date.whereas i was call to customer care they

were asked to me "In tata communication they were not refund any money".

MR. RAKESH PATIL WHO WAS YOUR AGENT WAS CALLED REGULARLY BUT DONT REPLY TO ARE CALL. CALLING COSTERMER CARE WAS EVEN USELESS AS THEY ONLY TOOK TIME IN CONNECTING EACH OTHER. WE WASTED OUR CALL ON MOBILE.
I NOW WANT MY MY MONEY REFUNDED AT THE EARLIEST., THIS WAS MY WORST EXPERIENCE WITH YOUR NETWORK.

Tata Communication Services — Not giving refund of my money

Hi ,

I have taken Tata Internet connection by paying 4 months advance. I placed request for transfer of connection From Pune To Delhi and told them to temporarily stop my internet usgae till the time I take house on rent in Delhi. They refused to the same as a result I suffered loss of Rs 1300 . Even after that I took house on rent in Delhi I told them to install connection at my new address. First they took 15 days checking feasabilty and later told after 15 days that delay was due to non-submission of Address proof. they keep on reducing my balance for these manya days. Even after I submitted all my documents they again they didn't installed internet at my place an d told me to change my usgae plan.

After I come to knew that they are giving excuses and will not move my connection . I told them to refund my money for remaining days. And Nodal officer North Tata Communcation Services refused to do the same. I request you to please look into teh same and help me get refund of my money.

TATA COMMUNICATIONS LTD./INTERNET CONNECTION — REFUND OF MONEY

My name is Arun kumar. I took 3 connections from TATA COMMUNICATIONS LTD.The following are the user id's of my connections:

1) akumar001
2) akumar002
3) akumar003

The connections wer activated around the 15th march 2009 after making payments through cheques. I made 2month's advance payments for each of the connection. In total I paid around Rs16000/-. After a weeks time I sent an email to diconnect all of them because of poor services. An executive from their company came and collected all the appratus and equipments that they used at the time of installation. I was promised a full refund on the grounds of poor services.

It has been almost a year, I have neither received any refund nor heard anything regarding refund. I wrote few emails to their customer services and nodal officer also to chase regarding the refund up to a couple of months but i didn't get any answer, so I stopped sending emails also. please help me in this matter to get my money back because it's been quite some time and I am in terrible need of money now.

We are the existing tataindicom broadband connection holder since last few years and our account name is [protected]@eth.net. We have the broadband connection running with a static IP address which was bought later additionally.

In the last week of june we were approached by a sales executive of yours (Name : Mr.Murari ) and he inisisted on a new connection citing reason that the new one will be faster as it will be from a submerged line. On asking him about the existing connection he told that will be surrendered immediately and also the existing IP address on the connection will be moved to the new connection.

We accepted this as despite repeatedly asking hime to confirm the movement of IP he confirmed the same would be done. The IP address is important to us as we have this IP linked to other servers for access and security reasons.


Given above promises we applied for the connection and paid two months rental in advance. The technical people came and installed the new connection giving a new User ID : manishbiyani. We informed them also regarding the new IP and they said the same would be done in a couple of days. The new installation was done around 5th of july. After this as advised by your customer care we emailed our intention to disconnect the old connection.

Now the problem:

We were duped by your people saying the IP will be moved and the old connection would be surrendered. There has been no response from all your team regarding this and we are still using the old connection and have been raised a bill for the same. We are not in the position to pay this bill and we have already paid in advance for the new connection. We have been repeatedly calling mr murari and his senior Mr.Niladri [protected] but they never pick up or always have a answer "I will get back to you" . This has been going on for a month now and we are completely fed up with this attitude of only selling the connection and not giving any service. I called the customer care department also and they said they cannot do anything regarding this. WE ARE UP AGAINST A WALL
I have exactly same problem...my refund is arund 7000...i also got it disconnected in march but no refund till now...shall we file a petition againset tata in consumer court...that will teach them a lesson. Please contact me on [protected]@gmail.com

TATA Communications appoints fraud sales persons who take advance and commit the connectivity verbally and keep the money for months and no body listens and provides the connections in time and then one has to really run from pillar to post for the refund. My refund of almost 2 lacs is pending from over two months for the connection of 45 Mbps ILL which they could not provide.
