[Resolved]  Tata Docomo — poor customer service

customer service is very bad, They closed my complain without solving it. Customer care executives are rude and impolite and asked me that they can not not solve the problem and do whatever u want ,go to consumer court etc. Even Appellate is not doing anything.I have recharged my tata photon with unlimited 700 Rs. after using for 2 days it stopped working. First they said that network work is going on so wait for 2 days to lodge a complain. After 2 days they have lodged the complain and asked me to wait for 8 days more for resolution what kind of prompt service is that.
After 10 days they called me that there is no problem with the services and U have to recharge with 100 Rs. to continue the services.Why they are calling it a unlimited recharge if it stopped working after the end of high speed data.

So in my opinion i[censored] want dongle based internet services don't go for it and those guys who had already own the photon never recharge your dongle with unlimited rechage either u will regret.

i called to tatadocomo customer service regarding my billing issue, so i call to 198 to register a complaint, they provide another number to contact (1515), then i called to 1515, then they provide another number ([protected]), from that they are telling to call again 1515, after that they told to send a mail, regarding the same, i didnt get any solution for this

due to the poor servious provided in this center, i planed to change the shopping center
ther is no meaning for the term " customer serious " in this center, ther is no representative in the member care chair, the female employe of this center is busy with ther personal mobile calls,
the supervisour should take care of this provided he/she should be ther during the working hours
ther is totally 4 billing counter, only one counter is opened all the time

I recently bought a new Tata Docomo just like anybody else falling by the temting tariff. But from the day i bought the SIM i hvae been facing different problems.

Initially whenever i dialled a number it said not a valid number and if someone tries calling my tata docomo number it said switched off. The customer care numbers were never reachable (wonder if customer care toll free no. was active then) and mails also bounced back. It took a few days for this to get resolved automatically.

After that i have been facing intermittent network issues even in prime locations where signal is supposed to be the best. Though the call rates r attractive, i am seldom able to make calls, escpecially in the evning times.

The biggest headache is customer service in Tata Docomo. Ever since i got my SIm i have been trying to activate GPRS in my mobile. But till thistime i have not recieved my settings. Whenever i call customer care they keep repeating to send an SMS DIVE In to a toll free number. Tried this also several times but in vain. FInally the last time i reached the unreachable customer care, the person asked for my model number. The person was speaking in an irritating english and was not even able to understand motorola and was repeatedly taking it as motorwala... :( the customer care is just outsourced to some company who employ people who dont even have basic skills :(

Hoping things get rectified quickly, else i will be left with no option but to throw the SIM away :(

Motorola — For Disconnect Networking

Dear Sir,

Last few month the Airtel Network are not properly work.
Daily you network are not connecting so kindly solve the
problem and clear to me.
The service quality of Tata Photon is pathetic. They are luring customer to false TV advertisements. Although they promise higher speeds ,the actual fact is that most of the time there are signal issues / bandwidth problems. The modem connects but pages takest ime to open. In my locality in Thane, it does not work at all & the TATA technicians after investigation reveals that there is no Cell site available in the nearby location . Thus the broadband modem does not work.
My Request to all , Do not fall prey to false committments and comments from TATA Telecom.

Tata Photon — awful and shameful service and customer support

if you want to commite biggest misteake in your life then pls. buy TATA Photon Plus.

These don't have bandwith to sopport a normal speed and claiming to run inetrnet TV in phone.

They just don't able to provide proper speed through Photon Service. Neither their customer support know anything.

They are bunch of fools selected int he company have working under fools.

Furstation is that i had seen the ad and thought that it is from Tata's then let remove my broadband connection and try them. Initialy they had given good service but after one month, problems starts. can u imagine speed is so pathatic that at 8 pm it not able to open Google page which is lighest page in the world.

Shameful to TATA and to those buggers who think their service is too gud for nothing.
I have booked a Tata Photon+ device today by online banking. The sales executive told me that he will deliver it to me within 2 hrs. Its already 5 hrs and I did not get the device. After calling them they keep on saying that the person is on his way to my office and it will take only 15 mins. Just like that 3 hrs is over. So think twice before purchasing online.

Tata Photon — customer service problem

Its a problem to locate the customer service number of Tata Photon in the website . The call centre is even worse. The IVR menu is not user friendly and it mentions " all the customer service --------wait for some time" then it goes blank . Tried repeatedly in vain . Its frustrating .

Tata Indicom's reply in sweet words is not a solution. We are not getting a reasonable service from them. One can fool somebody for sometimes, but one cannot fool everybody always. Their customer care number is really useless and only for testing the patience of the customer. Similarly watching "my account" also made such complicated that nobody can easily watch thier accounts so that they can mint hard earned money of the customer according to their will and wish. It is shameful that this all happening in the name of a so called prestegious Tata group.Please note that each dissatisfied customer can damage your image more than that the image you are creating by spenting crores of rupees for advertisement.

You are absolutely right same is the problem with me. i call them to complain most of the time nobody pic the call otherwise i receive message that all executive are busy. I think we should all meet and file a case against them in consumer court so that they will know the power of law. In india company do not have and fear of law thats why they never provide service which they say initially during time of purchase...
i purchased Tata Photon Plus in Nov 2009. To sell they are very prompt. However the device gave me a lot of problems. Since my husband was hospitalised i was busy taking care of him. I tried calling up all the Help line nos but every time i had to them the whole story all over again. Ultimately they asked me to go to a service centre very far away from my residence. The technician kept the device for ten days and returned it in a worse condition. Meanwhle inspite of my repeatedly asking them to disconnect my no they refused and kept on sending me the rental of Rs 00 per month which i payed every month. All that i want to say is the service at Tata Photon is miserable. No customer support at all. Very surprising for a company TATA GROUP. I write this with the faith that people in the higher up will take some serious action. Your people employed at the Photon Centres definately need some training on how to deal with customers in a polite manner. They have no curtsy what so ever. Such emplyees reflect on the image of the company. Hope this aspect will be looked into seriously.
Efficiency of Tata Photon service in D.L. Road area of Dehradun is extremely pathetic. My connection no [protected] in the name of cement Corporation of India ltd; ( A Government of India Enterprise) is virtually a showpiece and for the last more than 4 months I have got nothing except false promises by the Company ( Photon) to get the services improved . Now they say that maximum AVERAGE SPEED is already being provided . I am stunned to get such sort of reply without resolving the problem . It is sheer harassment and speed of connection is not adequate enough to run skype / general surfing. The response received even from the desk of National Customer Services Head , Bombay is quite dismaying.

It is very sad to say that ur cutomer service is very poor or can b called below standard.....for just getting a call in custumer service we have to wait for a day, we will get the first call of the day, but after that if we want some assistance, we have to wait for the next day to come,to get the call.........when ever i call, its saying that the "custumer agent is busy with athor customers pls send ur message to [protected]@tatadocomo.com...." what do u think o[censored]rself........what can a user with out net or computer can do in this case.......should we have to buy a computer for this or should we need to take a internet connection...or do we have to provide you employees for this........for the last 3 days i have being trying to get the customer service agent, and my call have been connected only 2 times........now i have decided to change the connection unless u solve this problem......you can reply me at .....

I have used photon plus in a few areas in Dun n it is really pathetic everywhere..
DEAR SIR

I called customer care at 9.55 pm on 23 July and told her to activate 6 rs sms pack she put me hold and after some time told that "sorry this service is closed we cannot activate this pack any more" (this was a lie)
i said OK and disconnect

later i checked my balance 16 rs were deducted and i got a mesg "your sms pack has been activated".
i called again customer care, she talked to me like hell. She refused to give my money back and disconnected my call (she should not do this).

again when i tried to call customer care i was not able to call becoz your company does not allow to call more than 2-3 times a day.

i tried with another number this time she told(all the three times it was a lady, strange!!!) me that she had credited 16 rs in my number and asked me to check my balance. I disconnect to check balance and hell she even lied to me MY BALANCE WAS NOT CREDITED SHE LIED TO ME.

and then my other number was also blocked from calling customer care.
how ridiculous!!!

Tata Photon — Poor service

I am user of tata photon + vide number [protected].... The same is giving lot of problems by getting disconnected automatically after few minutes.... Have been experiencing the problem since morning... Lot of trouble...

Bad bad device... Guys try land line broad band .... But do not buy TATA Photon... Its pathetic.

Tata Photon+ — Poor Customer Service

I bought photon+ by paying Rs.1200/- to their sales rep on 14th June. He said the product will be activated after verification person comes to my house and verifies the details.
Till date nobody has come for verification.
Today the sales representatives are not even taking my calls. I sent an sms and they don’t even bother to reply.

Never pay in advance to these people. Never buy Photon+ as you will waste your time and money for useless followups.

customer service — Poor Customer Service

I was not in the city because of I could not get my Tata Sky account and it got deactivate on due date and you charged my account with a suspension fee of Rs 10.00 about which I was never informed through anyone neither your dealer nor any of your executive. I tried to find this information at your site but do not see it anywhere. Well, that is not my issue. I need to find a complaint about the horrible customer service I have been delivered through one of your rude lady representative who made my day worst in an early morning. I tried to chat with you guys but at your site it was mentioned that you guys will become available at 7:30 so I can left my query there in other section and will get a response instantly whereas I received the call back through that PATHETIC lady rep after more than TWO HOURS when I already had wasted more than 1 hour with your representative on a phone call and wasted more than 50 rs from my cell phone account. The representative I talked with was more helpful than the lady from whom I received call later. The name of that lady was Samina and she was like SITTING ON FIRE AND READY TO THROW BURNING STONES ON ME. I am a new customer of Tata Sky and got the connection just one month back and experienced a worst customer service from you guys. I should NEVER had to opt for your service .My concern was so little. There was a difference between the available balance after I recharged my Tata Sky account and the actual amount I paid. The representative whom I contacted myself to activate and make my package subscription told me that the difference is for taxes. Now when I go through with your site then I find that all channels price is inclusive taxes and if it is so then why I would I be charged with extra taxes. I was transferred to a sr. rep and he credited my account with the difference but he could not find the reason for the extra amount so my concern remained as same as it was. Then I got the call back from that horrible female Rep Samina and she was keep retarding me instead of listening my points, She became rude and was shouting on me impatiently like I made a mistake by contacting customer service. She was keep blaming on to me that the problem is not through your system, its because of my account deactivation. Well, I never had such customer service through any organisation and being a new customer of Tata Sky I made my decision that next month I will go for another provider since you guys DONT listen your customer. I will also filing the same copy of this email as complain to the Corporate office of Tata Sky and to the Consumer Court. I will also discuss this issue with my lawyer if something can be done about that lady who treated my like I am person from the PEOPLE on Road. I don't understand that why you guys hire some one to service customers who throw them out from your service. Such people shouldn't be in any organisation if they don't know their work. I do work in customer service but never talk to a customer in that way she did to me. Well thanks for NOTHING since I know that nothing can be done by you guys apart from an apology about the issue so I will take care of that whole part myself. Wrote to you not complaining the service you guys offer to customer, just to let you know that if you will keep let your reps to INSULT your customer then no matter where your business will be, YOU will put the NAME down for your company. That's it!!!
