[Resolved]  Tata DoCoMo / Prepaid — Beware: Deducted available balance in one night stating internet usage

Hi,

I have been using TATA Docomo prepaid a over a month now. Suddenly one night(26thJan, 2AM-7AM) the available balance of Rs. 311+ was deducted. This came to my notice during the day about 2pm when I tried a make a call, it said insufficient balance.

On contacting the customer care they have provided me a docket number GBL09094502 and was told that they will respond by 28th JAN 8.00PM.

There was no response until I called them on 29th JAN 11.00 AM. Their response to my call was " You have used internet for the balance".

But my phone was idle all night from 25th Jan 11.00PM - 26th Jan 12PM.
I don't know how I can respond to this kind of fraud by TATA Docomo.

So, I request people planning to switch to TATA DOCOMO, think 100 times before you make a wise decision, and also people who are already subscribers of TATA DOCOMO be wise in checking the available balance/ monthly bill and maybe switching to other safe mobile service providers as portability may be option. Or, you may be a victim of being held responsible for huge amounts if you do not have so much o[censored]sage.

Amount in hundreds doesn't matter much to the people but thousands would. I am pretty sure that TATA Docomo would have deducted Rs.3111(0r 31111) if was available that night. I wish to thank GOD from saving me from such big fraud.

I received a sms by tata docomo stating that the issue was resolved. But I dont understand what was resolved? I tried contacting customer care and my call was disconnected.

I still have not got the balance back. Please look into the matter.

My Docomo # [protected] was a carrying a balance more that Rs.300 last night(25th Jan'10) and to my notice today 26th Jan when I tried to make a call during the day showed a balance of Rs. 0. On contacting the customer care I was told that I have used the balance all night by using the internet(Which I haven't used).

My anger cannot be expressed. Why will I sit all night to use the docomo instead o[censored]sing my home internet for free (unlimited usage)? I haven't used my docomo on regular basis any time this late night.

Such fraud by docomo leads me to rethink of switching to an another superior quality network.
As such kind of activity is a complete time waste for me in this busy life.

Hope a quick action is taken in this regard.

I m using tata docomo number for last 5 to 6 month.. and i m suffering from their services... they activated any skim without giving any intimation. they have been taken charged for it... i contacted many times of tata docomo customer care.. but they did not reply me... and they did not co-operate with customers...
Without giving any intimation they activated cricket score facility.. and they sent me cricket scores via messages. so many times i called tata docomo customer care and requested to get my refund back and deactivate that skim but they did not do it... and daily they charged 5 rs per day.. and i lost my around 40 to 50 rs balance for that skim... my docomo mobile number is +91 [protected]
on[protected] i got a call from tatadocomo cusomer care. if i recharge Rs. 35. ill get 45 Rs talktime within 24 hours. on the same day i have recharged Rs 35. but i have not balance. i didn't get minimum amount also. i called many times to customer care to ask abt my problem. thye didn't repond to my request. Mob;[protected].tatadocomo customer care is worst.
my no is -[protected], my name in tapan kumar giri. i could not get internet setting on my lephone A10 mobile phone whate can i do?
I have also faced similar issue.

For the fraud notification provided i will move further to consumer forum because Rs.36/ does matter to me.
you cant just bluff anyone you like.
Surely i would like to draw your attention this is not a spam. I am definately gonna take further steps for this.




There are many other service providers other than TATA DOCOMO so i will not hesitate to opt one of them.
As there services are more better than yours.
I will make issue of this matter over net or social networking sites that may cause severe setback for u.
I will not leave any stone unturned in ruining your company name.

dear friends, my name is Pinank shah.i am using TATA DOCOMO user.sicce last two week they was activated service of "ASTROLOGY" without asking to me.i was deactiveted that service but they are again activate that service.on 24 of may, i was in busy in mu work i got the message that your weekely astrology pach has been activated.i told him that i was busy in my work, they response me that u was give answer to our call.
But i reality i diden't recived any call.they even does not transfrre call ti there head.for this service they debited my account for 30rs.
so my advice to don't ever select tata docomo.i[censored] are all ready docomo user so please switch from docomo.
Jo recharge kam karta hai use duble talk time 25ma50 aur Jo regular recharge karvata use only full talk time aisa kyo...?

My name is praveenkumar one of the customer of tata docomo, iam facing a problem with customer care executives, they are not giving me correct information regarding different tarrif plans, when i was spoken with one of the customer care executive regarding caller tune activation, he given me details like this, this is the bada pack offer 50 rupees for 90 days validity, you can listen 5 songs simultaniously for 90 days & u will have this songs for 90 days.after activatiion when i spoken with caller tune dept. person he said me u will have the songs for 1 month if you activate 5 songs.i[censored] want to continue the songs for further months u will charge 15 rupees for a song.what is this matter in cheeting the customer. like me how many are suffuring...

Tatadocomo — unwanted messages & deduction of charges without concern

Even after registering DO NOT DISTURB request id is DND [protected],I am recevieng several numbers o[censored]nwanted massages which neither I read or I open the site I am being charged for this msgs.

I took one docomo GSM SIM having Serial no:[protected] on 1.06.11 due to i am not a local person they asks me to give any suporting document of any local person then i gave them the document of our office local boy Mr.Manoj.But after 14days 14.06.11 morning my outgoing call barded without giving any prior information when i call towards custmercare they told me that they don't receive
my document.so then i re-submit my document on 15.06.11 Evening but till 16.06.11 Evening there is no response from service providers meanwhile i am facing many hard problem out of it i also sent mail towards Nodal office then appelate office also but same thing is happening.Due to i am an official person my all type of work based on phone.So i request u to do the needs for my number withen few hours its very urgent.
This is for Yuor Kind Information And necessary action.

I submited a complent against Barding outgoing calls form14.06.11 vide SIM No:[protected] & SL No:[protected] on 16.06.11 Afternon But after this complent both outgoing and incoming calls are totaly disconected .I think that i am the worst custemer of yours or u all behaves every custmers like this due to this type of action from your service provider i am facing many problems so at last i think that i will submit one complent against tatadocomo service at consumer forum .

On 31 may Rs.70 was deducted from my account . and from that day I am trying to call in customer care but they are not giving any response, they usually say that during 2 or 3 hours you will get your balance but after 2 or 3 hours any balance is not refunding and i am calling back they put my call on unresponding list so that I can, t call to them. They are making me fool from 2 or 3 weeks . They are doing fraud with customer . but any how i want my balance to be refunded. My mob. no. [protected]

i agree all the complaints made regarding cheating attitude of tata docomo. customers are really facing lots of problem for no wrong. i have been cheated thrice time by tata docomo by activating Alert service without my knowledge. whenever i recharge my phone with recharge coupon, a message show me that i have choose to activate alert service. even there is no option to cancel the message, except "OK" option, otherwise i cannot back to my screen mode. this is the ill planning of tata docomo to earn by cheating customer. I hate such harassment. Even i could not call emergency call after leaving my balance "0" by tata docomo at the right time of my recharge..And more harasment is that while contacting customer care staff, a computer voice tells that customer staff are busy, i really hate such policy. my mobile no [protected].
i agree the common problems of the customer. i have been cheated thrice time by tata docomo. it is the ill planning of tata docomo by activating the alert services without knowledge of customer. today on 22/8/2011, when i purchase a recharge coupon for 50/-, to my surprise, my all amount has been deducted by giving message that i have activated alert service. I contacted customer care, after long one hrs trying and requested for return of my amount. the staff has inform me that the amount is made return. without checking i call a phone but suddenly phone stop and show me "0' balance. its very bad and i am on emergency. again i try to contact customer care, for more than 3 hrs continuously but computer voice tells that customer staff are busy. is this planning of tata docomo to cheat customer to earn? my phone no. not once its THREE times you people cheated or fooled me .TWO times i have done special recharge of 29, in that i never get balance in 96 hours, after that i called customer care firstly they said u will get in sometime but i never get it so again i called that time they put blame on shop-keeper who did my recharge and that shop-keeper put blame on ur company and i called again customercare and asked them to speak to shopkeeper your service provider refused to speak and they cut my call
and next time they never received my call . this incident was two month befour.
THIRED time is today without any intimation and without my acceptance you started world alert service and charged my 30 Rs from balance
one year gone i m using your sim so if you never refund my money i will truly shift to others like vadafone, aircel so many choices are there .
