[Resolved]  Tata Indicom Broadband — Totally frustrating, pathetic and the worst service provider ever

I happened to have used many other Broad band connections earlier like sify & hathway. I do see that when it comes to Service, all of them are really bad but I believe VSNL is probably the worst and the most frustrating of them all.

I have been using tata indicom from the last three months for working from home whenever needed. Last week, I was supposed to be working from home for the whole week and my net connection went down all of a sudden on Tuesday. I had raised a complaint with high urgency on Tuesday after trying the long list of stereo suggestions from the executive. I had let them know that it would be affecting my official work badly and I was told that the issue would be fixed before Wednesday noon. For then, I had to rush to my office in the mid-night to continue my work. Since then, it has been a mental torture for me calling up the customer service every day, explaining the whole story and getting the same old dumb response that the problem will be fixed by the end of the day. It has been six days now and there has not been a single call from any executive nor did anyone visit my place to check/fix problem. It had been hell for me waiting up for the executive to come down everyday and then rush to a nearby cafe or the office to wrap up my work when they fail to turn up as promised. It has been very frustrating and totally irritating every time they make a fake promise and leave the issue unattended. I had literally spent around 500rs calling up these executives everyday and waiting for long for them to connect to the supervisors or make some dumb promise. More than the money and the time, it is the mental agony I had been through that the service provider is badly accountable for and needs to pay for that. I have been yelling at them everyday explaining them how badly I am being affected and I am surprised that they could still be so laid back and not bother to attend the problem even after 6 days of logging the complaint. I am really in such a helpless situation not able to get my work done nor take any action against the Service provider. I am writing to the Consumer forum today and am hoping that they would help me take some action against VSNL. Letz c..

TATA Indicom — Worst Service

I have never seen such a worst service like TATA in my life.
I had purchased two prepaid cards [protected]/20 in the month June 07.
For which i had submitted the documents at IDEAL Communication, Kalawa Naka,Kalwa(W).
After some days i called customer care they said me that this mobiles are registered on some other persons name and addresse,
Now,15-20 Days back I recieved a message from TATA to resubmit the documents, with reference to this message once again i submited the documents, but this time
I went to TATA Outlet (Naupada, O junction, Thane) and ask one executive to check the documents and the i handover those document to him.
After two days I called customer care again and check for the details at this time this two nos. were registered on my name.

But from yesterday night my services has been stopped, in the morning i called customer care then executive told me to resubmitt the documents.

NOw the questions are.

* If my documents will be used somewhere then who is responcible?
* What about the documents which i had submitted twice?
* Shuld i submit the documents daily to your Tata Outlet?
* Or Shuld i submit the documents after each hour to your Tata Outlet?

Tata Indicom Broadband — Worst Service ever..

This is reagrding my broadband connection with the user ID as- subrato.[protected]@vsnl.net.
I had used its services till 13th july and since i bought a new house i had requested the representative to shift my connection to my new residence on 14th july. I did series of follow ups, but after 2 weeks i got to know the new residence of mine has no feasibility!so i requested them to disconnect the connection and sent them an email and also paid my bill on 30th July.I never got my confirmation reagrding disconnection and After a month i get calls about my AUG bills and they asking me why i want to disconnect? Its total harrasment...I request if someone could help me with this!!!

i request guys not to take up tata indicom broadband connection!!! that's an honset request...They make fun of people and their time!!!

My wireless broadband connection was installed on 17th Feb 2009. AND I HAVE NOT BROWSED CONTINOUSLY FOR MORE THAN 20 MINS SINCE THEN. THERE IS A FREQUENT DISCONNECTTION PROBELM WITH MY CONNECTION. I logged complaint many times but there were no actions taken.

I paid Rs 2124/- to install the connection and now the worst part is that “My account” is showing Rs 1268/- amount as outstanding balance.

Bill was generated on 21st Feb 09. In just four days they charged me 1268/- amount again.

I AM ROAMING FOR MORE THAN 2WEEKS FOR JUST A SIMPLE TRANSFER OF A NO-SIM INTO T-SIM WHICH TAKES ONLY A 3MIN, they say it is not avalaible for2 2days til now they do the same & always give wrng day to come !!! worst service in my life is tataindicom ...
when ever i wanted to contact to your customer executive for knowing about the tarrif plan I did not got the response, My mob [protected]. I am continiously trying from 3 days

Tata Indicom Broadband — Worst Service

I am using the TIBB connection from past 1 year and at first i was using this Wimax service, where the executive said that i ti will support vonage and everything, so i took the connection and i didn' get the chance o[censored]sing this vopi for nearly 6 months and after that when i tried to use it, there was an one way audio problem and due to my busy schdeule it got delayed one more month and i complained about the vonmage and they checked every thing and said that it was due to the poor latency of the wimax connection and then the technician spoke to tibb customer service and they understood the problsm and the technician Ameer came to my place and he suggested to use telesima equipment which was different than the regular wimax machine and he started testing for the signal from 11 am and till 4 he did nt get the signsl, so he opted me ti migrate for wireline which was just passing in front of my apartment and he said that he will just give the connection in 2 days ans the great so called tibb is short of the wire for 20 metres and they gave the wireline after 5 days after repeated calls and a call tro the nodal officer. There started my troubles, it worked fine and iam very much satisfied with the service only for 20 days form then on wards till date for 4 months , for every month i used to get the tibb down for 5- days every month, reason was LOCAL SERVER DOWN, this used to happen every month and every day i used to call the customer service and will be shocking to know that my complaint was resolved. I must be shocked to know with out my confirmation, how can they close the complaint. this uded to happen every month and in this month, i lodged a complaint on august 31st and till now, the complaint was closed every time i used to call them , every day i used to call them 2 times and the same answer, " Sir already the complaint was resolved but the if they check the connction, the local server was down, it will be addressed ASAP" but the same, Even the call to the nodal officer Niharika was USeless.

TATA Indicom — worst service of tata indicom

my question is if there is no facility for tata to cover a certain region,then why do they take money from us and later we have to call them asking to provide the service soon. i asked for tata indicom broadband 1 month back,first agent vijay([protected]) of tata indicom,chennai said they have their server at ramapuram and it will take just one day to install the entire setup but i am waiting for the past one month. if i am calling him he is disconnecting my call or his mobile is switched off or else someone else is attending the call.

i paid him 5000INR with a plan of 1mbps broadband.god knows what type of business tata does.i asked them to return my money.they are telling they cant give, as if i am asking their money.

i know by complaining i am not going to get anything atleast in India but nothing to be done,this is the only way that we can try doing something.
Yeah.. 10000% correct...

Every time their Local Server Gets down...
Some times they Close the complaints without confirming the customers and with out solving the problem..if we make a call again, then again they Re-open the complaint and it again takes 24 hours.. time.
even some times they give wrong information...

we ware really feel .. their service is Worse than Worest...
for this what we need to do is... note all the complaints and send to higher officials to Tata as wel as a CC to AIRTEL, RELIANCE ofiicials also .. then only they feel ashamed
I have completely agree with Costomer care of Tata Indicom is fruistating, Pathetic & PAnic
