TATA INDICOM USB MODEM Chennai south, Ta IN I bought the new generation of internet connection " USB MODEM-TATA INDICOM" When i went for the detail, the shop keeper in the TRUE VALU SHOP LOCATED ALONG TAMBARAM TO VELACHERY ROAD told the subscription detail with plan, doccument required,initial payment etc., he collected all said doc like credit card statement,pan card xerox with initial payment Rs.2950.00. He also accepted all doc with initial amount and gave me the stylish USB modem ( almost double the size of pen drive we normally use).When i leave the shop he interrupted and told, sim cord is not available with me, will give you tomorrow. I surprised ! what simcard ? Which is activate the USB MODEM.without that simcard it is like a mobile without sim. I asked without sim why do you keep USB MODEM here ? Some how he convinced me ( may be expert in )i came back with more dissappointed. Because as we see from the advertisement " our heroine kajole will help the next table in a restaurent, she just insert and show the web page" but in actual it is not, there is a CD needs to install to activate the software. So , buyers please dont go with the advertisement we seen from TV. Tomorrow i went and got the sim , he said it will be activated with in 24 hours. Dear Sir,I have purchased a Tata Indicom USB Modem before few months. That time its service was fine but now Tata Indicom's service is very poor. and i cant use Internet service at my Home. The problum is that Tata Indicom USB Modem's Service is very fine at my office on my Personal Computer and in my Home it is so much poor on same Computer.
i have already complainted to Tata Indicom Coustmer Care Center, but i am not satisfied from their answer. They sugest me that i can close my service and when they will improove their service then they will call me. and This is not my answer. I purchased Dialer from Rs. 2500/- that will be waste.
I requested to TRAI please do the needful and oblise me.

i am having slow internet connection.
I too experienced similar type of problems but I was given an excellent support by Coimbatore Tata Indicom representative by means of replacing the device though I bought the device in Pune as it was under warranty. I sincerely appreciate Mr. Rajkumar of Coimbatore, Tata Indicom branch for his first-rate efforts in resolving the problem.
The speed of the CDMA usb modem is very poor

Dear Sir,I have buy tata indicom usb modem last week and i am facing problem from day one.
It is deadly slow.....
I have informed the same to technical support and they are saying that i have to contact to service provider.
To contact service provider i need account number but account number was not provided by dealer.
I have informed to dealer Subhas(Mailid:Subhash.[protected]@tatatel.co.in ) and Rohit from Tata indicom via sms/phone but did not received any revert from their side.
Please resolve my problem as soon as possible.

I dont know about other service providers but TATA TELESERVICES LTD. can be one of poorest customer service providers. I have also gone thru lots of frustration and financial losses due to Plug-to -surf connection. It does not get connected several times due to network issues, and at other times, despite of payment, my connection is barred. I have complained several times to various people, but nothing has been done so far. I wonder if they have completed a course of - how to loose your customers? with a distinction. Poor understanding of product, inadequate training and tendency of passing the buck to some one else is one of prime reasons of poor customer service.
None of the customer service executive did anything other than - being sorry! I want to take a legal action for causing financial losses as well as mental harassment, but not sure how to go about it.

TATA USB MODEM — in continuity of service
Dear Sir,I have brought a Prepaid tata indicom Modem 6 months ago from Nagothane , Maharashtra . I have been regularly using from 6 months now the modem is blocked . we contacted the customer care they said to resubmit the documents at the nearest outlet but the stores are not receiving the documents . right now i am in bhatinda , Punjab I can submit the documents either in Nagpur , Maharashtra or Bhatinda ,Punjab .
