[Resolved]  Tata Nano — Non refund of Tata nano booking amount

THE COMPANY ANNOUNCED THE RESULTS ON 25.06.09. I HAVE VERIFIED ONLINE AND MY APPLICATION (UIN:[protected] IS NOT THERE IN SUCCESSFUL LIST OF ALLOTMENTS . SO FAR I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE REFUND NOR EVEN LETTER OF REGRET DESPITE SEVERAL REMAINDERS TO THE COMPANY.

I FEEL THERE IS A DELIBERATE ATTEMPT BY THIS COMPANY TO DELAY THE REFUNDS( WHICH ARE SUPPOSED TO BE COMPLETED BY 25.07.09) AND GET AWAY BY PAYING NIL INTEREST TO PEOPLE LIKE ME WHO BELIEVED THIS COMPANY BASED ON REPUTATION. THERE IS A LOSS OF INTEREST FOR THREE MONTHS ON MY ADVANCE AMOUNT OF RS.95, 000/- AND THE AGONY IS EXTENDED AFTER 25.07.09 ALSO.I THINK I AM TOTALLY CHEATED BY TATA MOTOR SO IT WILL COMPEL ME TO LEAVE USING YOUR PRODUCT AND SAME THINK I WILL CONVEY TO GENERAL PUBLIC & MEDIA AND LATELY TO CONSUMER FORUM.

Tata Nano — Non-refund of booking amount

I booked a Tata Nano car and paid Rs.1,40,000/- along with application (No.[protected]. Received an SMS on 25/06/09 and upon visiting Nano website, I came to know that i was not allotted. Expected that the Tata company will refund the amount within three months of closure of allotment to my account directly as they have collected a cancelled cheque as well to have clarity on account details. To my dismay, till now they have not returned the amount either to my account or to the postal address despite two telephone calls as complaint which was registered and an e-mail complaint. Tat is not keeping its reputation by such acts and hope they will realise it soon. If i do not get a proper response and refund within ten days from now, I may have to look other options open to me.

I cancelled my TATA NANO booking on 30.09.2009 and as informed waited for 30days but on 30th day i.e. 30.10.2009 i get a call from TATA Pune office asking for my account number, name, address and other details and when i ask the executive why he is taking all the details now, when i was supposed to recv my refund cheque he says sorry and informs me that i will recv my refund chq in 10days. After waiting for 10days i call the call centre and lodge a complaint and below are the facts and i am still waiting for the refund cheque. Today it is 26.11.2009. Still waiting...

He says that they don't have a manager in their organisation

8) Faisad on 25.11.2009 from Head office he has taken my account number, Bank name, IFSC no and address. Said he will check, if cheque is not sent he amount would be transferred directly to my account.

Today 26.11.2009 : Nothing has happened still waiting for someone from TATA MOTORS to take necessary action. It is one month 26 days till date and no action is taken.

All above names are TATA NANO's employees and always saying sorry but no positive answers.

I would request someone to help me in this regards to get my booking amount refund.

I anm also suffering from the same issue, every time call centre assuring for a week time but after one week again saying call after two days and so on.
I haven't received my refund...
Tata Nano people make lots of false promises. I am fed up.

TATA NANO CX BS 2 — Not getting refund from Tata Nano

I have booked for Tata Nano on 25th April 2009.i have done proceesed through my ICICI Bank Account of Rs.3899.
I have opted the option for Retention of Booking :
Retention of booking(Refer section 4 of T&C)

Incase I do not get allotment in the first 1,00,000 allocation
Please refund my booking amount

when the allottment list came.i was not eligeble for Tata Nano.then after i went so many times in ICICI bank.they after moving the balls to the tata motors corner.
but all in vain.mean time some of my collegue has also applied for the same .but they got refund from Tata Motors.their UIN No.was[protected]

Even I did not get my refund back... I have been calling them every week, at the end of the call, what i get is an assurance of getting a cheque within 1 week & a new complaint number. there is nothing we can do, until we get the contact numbers & email address of the higher Mgmt(Those ) who are simply eating up our interest... they will have to pay for this in some or the other way...!!! There is no point in blaming the customer care executives... they are just doing thier jobs... My final plan is filing a case against TATA MOTORS in consumer court. Why is not RATAN TATA, now appealing people ... when he wanted to do the marketing, he was out in public... I would suggest people who are in India should go to their office & teach them a good lesson... I m planning to do so...when I come back...!!!...

Tata did not keep their word, 24 hours passed by with no resolution yet.

waiting for my refund for months and months.
I am also victicm of TATA NANO list. So far I have not been refunded the amount inspite of cancelled the booking before fifty days. As per their terms and conditions, the amount would be refunded within a month, however neither amount nor any convincing reply is received from them. This type of delay/cheating is not expected from a reputed organisation. It is not known whether the hard earned money will be refunded to me. Instead of looting money in this manner, they can stop the business and do some political work so as to earn/rob public money as they expected. Government should not allow such type of business which leads to cheating / exploing the dreams of poor people in the form of purchasing a car .

I booked Tata nano on the first day. uin no is[protected]. I got allottment .and I cancelled the allottment on[protected].cancellation no is RSTVZ81740. WITH THE CANCELLATION NO we submitted all documents to concord motors on[protected]. As per the website of Tata nano We are suppose to get the refund within 30 days. As we didnot not get anything from Tata motors, we called the call centre on[protected] and they said they have not received any documents from concord motors and asked us to enquire with concord motors. When I went to concord motors on[protected] they said they have sent the documents to Tata motors and they can't do anything. On 08.03.2010 I went to concord motors and called the pune call centre of Tata motors and asked them to talk to concord motors people. Now the call centre person say the booking is not cancelled fully and it will take another 45 days. The concord motor person say you you fill up the cancellation forms again and give it. I refused because I have the proof of cancellation from concord dated[protected]. Now both the call centre and concord motors are not helping us. We don't know where to go for help. We paid Rs.1, 20, 200/- on line from my ICICI A/C AND BOOKED ON LINE. the refund is delayed beyond a reasonable period without any reason .please help.
This amount earns interest for Tata motors and nil for the people who booked it.

tata company — not giving car on time

i inderjitsingh prop ludhiana steels booked tata manza auro with dada motors on5th march in ludhiana(punjab) He promised me to deliever the car after 20 days but after 20 days he said he will deliever me car after 1 month saying some strike is going on then he said we dont give guarantee of , if you wish to buy , you can go some other company to buy a car One of our friend brought same manza by giving extra amount in the form of accessories.We already write you up about this matter in your contact box but couldn,t get reply We were given area manager no. by the call center on sunday dated 21st march 2010 but when contacted on monday at [protected]area manager didnt came on phone but told by Mr. himanshu that he is busy in conference to mumbai and he will get in touch with us after that then again on 23rd march when ccontacted by us mr. homanshu picked up the phone and told that area manager had talked the owner of dada motors,that they will contact you and also said when asked about the delievery of car he said in a rude mannner that from where you got this no. and for your kind information i m not worker of dada motors,given the current situation i am not getting the answer of the query of delivery of car when?Perhaps i could get the exact date for the delivery of car hoping for a prompt and early delivery of car from your side Thanking you

Tata Nano Booking Amount — Refundable amount of Rs.3500

Dear Concerned
I had booked for a Nano from Tata motors via SBI Attingal Branch vide Regn num:[protected] dt.09.04.2009.by paying Rs.3499/-
I came to know that I was not allotted with a car. But I was unaware that the amount which I paid was not refundable and it was actually a Loan processing fee which the Bank intially didnt inform me or any of the customers.
At an average 1lac customer would have been denied the allotment since I understand that the booking was oversuscribed 10times Pan india.Rs. 3500 x 1 lac customer is a whopping 35 cr, which the Bank and probably Tata motors have swallowed and this money is showing as profit in the Balance sheet of both the companies
Is RBI and MRTPC watching this? Is this righteous on the part of a PSU and a reputed company like Tata to cheat the citizens of India this way?

I have same experience with tatamotors. Till today i haven't received any interest cheque. I received sms from tata motors asking me to correct my postal address, interesting thing is that i have received other corrospondence on same address. it is now two monts i have cancelled the booking and waiting for refund. nither dealer nor customercare are giving any definate answer. One have to really think on what type of service you can receive from these people if you buy any car from them.

But later due to some personal problems I have canceled the booking on 24/11/2009 and below mentioned are my UIN NUMBER

Its been almost 4 months and I haven't received my amount back. I have been to your office and I was told to check with the CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA, but the bank people says they need some identification # or something. I am really very tensioned with it and I am worried about my money.

I request you to please take a quick action over this issue and help me with the solution to avoid of taking me any legal action.
