[Resolved]  Tata Photon Plus — Speed of internet is very slow

I am residing in Delhi. I have taken Tata Photon+ data card from Tata Teleservices. But the place where I am currently residing which is well known area Mayur Vihar Phase-1, Delhi, does not have enough network bandwidth and there is a lack of signal. So could not use the Photon Card. The same had been reported to the company help desk and there was a engineer visit from company to check the same.

As per mail conversation started on 24th Aug 2011 with Mr Sunil Chaudhary (Nodal Help Desk – Delhi), he told me that the refund will be processed as per refund policy only which is in your case you are eligible to get 50% refund of total cost paid by for USB device till 17-MAR-12 and thereafter it will be Rs.750.

The problem was not from my side. So I need a 100% refund of device cost (Actual Device cost Rs: 1600/- at a time of purchase).

I have followed all the process to report the complaint. But I am not getting any satisfactory services from the customer help desk as well as Nodal help Desk-delhi.

I am really getting frustrated with the false commitments and bad customer service.

My photon number is [protected].my connection is prepaid.I started my connection on 14.1.2012.I get good speed for 3-4 days but after it is not working properly .The speed is very slow as it is taking 10 minutes to open single page.I tried to contact customer care but i didnt get positive response .They are just non sense people working there.

They are support properly.NO USE OF CUSTOMER CARE, THEY ARE CUSTOMER HEADACHE.

I( Abhinav sharma) have bought tata photon plus device for 1400 and they said that downloading speed will come around 300 kb/s but the speed i am getting while using the device is 20 to 30 kb/s. everyday i am calling to tata photon plus and they say that they are working on my complaint but i know no one works there. very bad service speed hardly i get 256kbps airtell much better speed then tata tata sucks they fake claim of 3.1mbs they r cheater i[censored] dont pay them for bad service they send court notice :( even reliance servcs sucks go for airtel or vodaphone

Photon plus device — Network connectivity is too bad.. Improve the quality of the product

Hello dis is Santosh Gupta i am fed up with Ur TATA PHOTON PLUS no speed even when we get signal full or not . I am facing problems in my office works due to Ur data card and i have to pay RS.900/- monthly is it small amount are u people serious about Ur data cards or else cheating people.

Guys, A consumer court might be a really good idea. Esp if there are so many o[censored]s. They will be forced to do something about it.

I am using Photon Plus Post paid connection from last year's April month. It is so irritating when I use photon plus. At first, I thought only connection speed is slow but soon I realised that download speed is very much slow. The photon plus is slower than tortoise. The company should take action for improving the speed for we have bought photon plus believing that it would be fast but its just the opposite. If their connection is not fast, they shouldn't have put their advertisements and fool people who are watching T.V. My experience o[censored]sing photon plus is very worst.

Misguiding sales strategy:
I am also experiencing very low speed on my TATA photon Plus. The device and plan (2Mbps-3Gb) was sold to me there was no disclaimer that about the minimum speed. It was mentioned that it will give 2mbps for most of the times and if not engineers will visit your place to fix the same.
I have never got (also never expected) 2mbps but atleast 1.5 Mbps. But I always got less than 1 Mbps.
Very Low Speed:
I searched a lot in My account --> current plan details and other links to check whether there is any disclaimer mentioning about the minimum speed that i should get, but failed to find it. When I called the customer care agent they mentioned that "if you are getting 256 Kbps, that is considered to be good speed". What the hell? Then why I am paying for 2Mbps speed?

[censored]ing tata photon network they guys never give u a good speed just they speak up that they give good service.whenever we call costumer care they suggest type %temp% delete files then type cleanmgr on run command and clean it but no use after it they tell u engineer visit on your door engineer visited and check it. Then it work good but not for long minimum 2 days or max 5-6 after that it again slow [censored] u guys give a better service to us
