[Resolved]  Taxi — Excessive meter

I am a service holder.Everyday i take taxi to come to office.From my home (near hiland park) to topsia (my office) the meter reads 45 approx and i have to shell out 110 rs. for that.(prviosly it was 90 rs.only but due to recent hike in taxi fares for diesel price hikes).But on 30th november 2012,when i boarded a taxi (WB 04 B 6826) from the same place,while i was just about to get out (as my office stop was nearby),i found the meter to be already reading 57 and by the time i got out (just after 1 min) it was already 61.When i questioned him he tried to shout at me.As i was in a hurry to reach office on time ,i could not take him to a nearby P.S.I had to sheel out 150 rs today.
I would sincerely hope the consumer forum and kolkata police jointly takes action on the same so that the same cab driver can never harass/cheat passengers like us.It should state an example for other cab drivers too.
Hoping for an earliest and strict action the same.
