[Resolved]  Ticketgoose — Failed to cancel the ticket

Hello All,

I have booked 3 tickets from chennai to Bangalore for rs 2100. Due to sudden death of my relative we were not able to travel. So I have called ticketgoose to cancel the ticket before 48hrs of travel date. Since there was no online cancellation allowed for chennai-Banglore i have to call the ticketgoose customer care to cancel the ticket. The ticketgoose representative who attended my call promised that the ticket will be cancelled and the cash will credited to credit card A/c in 1 week. But when i received my statement after 3 weeks i found that the amount was NOT refunded. I called the ticketgoose customer care and found that they did not cancel my ticket and they have sold the same ticket to someone.

As there was no online cancellation is allowed Passengers who use ticketgoose as travel agent are caught in such trouble so many times. Beaware of such kind of fraud by ticketgoose.

To be in saferside send e-mail to [protected] to cancel the ticket and also call the customer care of ticketgoose to intimate them and do ask for the name of the person who has attended you call and please ask for the reference no: for the request raised by you.

Ya its m, y case I Have booked bus E-Ticket through ticket goose 3 months the time of online purchase ticket cost was Rs 330.One week before travel date bus operator called me for Ticket fare raised Rs 330 to Rs 550, so give Rs 220 extra at the time of Journey. Beware of E tickets booking through via internet
two times failure transaction happened in ticket goose, no proper response, after 1 week amount credited

they are having the money in their account for interest, i think...many times happened for me

please don't book tickets through this website...lessons learned
I had faced the sane issues while booking thru ticket goose. the agent promised me that Cancelled tkt amount will be refunded . but never happened and bad response from ticket goose, now they ar telling some terms and conditions .
While cancelling, it shows the refunded amount, once cancelled, they have not credited back to the account . why they are doing this . is there any way to take corrective action against TICKET GOOSE . Please tell to whom do i address this isuue to take steps accordingly..
Similar cases are occuring day by day. I tried booking a ticket today (28-May) from "Chalakudi" to "Bangalore" for which travel day is a Thursday (31-May-2012). I selected a BUS for which 20 seats were showing available in TicketGoose(Sona Travels). However, my ticket did not got confirmed but money got debited from my account. Now, when I call the custmer care, they told me that NO seats are available for the selected bus and is full. So they will refund my Money by 7 working days!!! What a cheating!!! Everyone knows that weekdays (Mon-Thu) NO bus is full from Ernakulam to Bangalore. Also even if you chk at this point of time, thier website is showing 20 seats availability for the same bus!!! So this guys are clear cheaters. They do rolling with our money by holding it for few days in thier account. Dont ever go with Ticketgoose for BUS booking. REDBUS is far better than this guys, and in my experience REDBUS never debited money unless booking is confimred!
