[Resolved]  Times Of India (Hyderabad) — Not receiving paper

I agree with most of the comments stated above. I paid for times dhamaka offer on 28 march 09 fir six months. The implementation was to commence wef 16 apr 09. I received the paper for about 15 days in may 09 after persuing the matter with TOI office several times. The paper was discontinued once again in june 09. No response fromTOI office. The distributer says that he is not receiving the free paper for distribution as well as monthly record from the office. The result is the customer goes without paper. Finally I had to request the distributer to supply another paper on payment. There seems to be great misunderstanding between the office and distributer that the management is not able to resolve.

I really agree with such incidents especially with all news papers, really am disgusting with the situation now with the TOI 6 months program, I paid money on Aug-06th-2009 and he assured to get the paper from Aug15th-2009, today September 11th but I haven't collected Single copy, I called to the office for 3 times till now and called that Area Agent for 10 times, just 3 times he picked the call and said will come there in 20 mins but he did not get his 20mins in last 20days, when I called to office they will give agent number to contact/after explaining the situation they will say some cooling statements but never take the proper action.

and that waste area agent name is srutin([protected]), khairathabad, Veernagar, I request to TOI mgmt to take necessary action against him and please avoid to happen such incidents, otherwise your going to loose many more customers and their interest towards reading the news paper.

subscribed for 6 months Times of India Daily News paper in the month of July/August 2009. i supposed receive the paper from 16th August 2009. So far nothing was happened. on september 12th i made a complaint regrding this and in response to that your agents approached me and assured to supply paper from September 16th. but so far i did not get any result. this is a very high handed behaviour from the management and i will take this issue before appropriate forum, if no response from your side with in 24 hours.

The same thing is happening and happened to me in Chennai also.
They are the Bloody Greatest Cheats.

I have paid money for one year plan of times of india newspaper. But last month I lost 15 days paper.
This month also the same problem is happening. You people doesn't give any responsible. Rectify this problem otherwise please return my money.

I am also a victim of the Times Of India (TOI) 6 months subscription program.. When ever I complain that I did not receive the paper they would say it would be delivered from tomorrow and it would be delivered for next couple of days and again the same problem starts after couple of days and again I need to call. If you give a call to their numbers[protected],[protected] before 10:00 AM, they would say that nobody is available to talk and to call after sometime. TOI SUCKS SUCKS!!!
Worst of all...

I strongly agree to numerous complaint and I am one amoung them. I made several calls / sent emails and I don't know they TOI is ignoring Customers compliants.

This shows their inability to address the Customer compliants.

Hi,

Customer code 200355, where the service was pathetic. The paper was never delivered before 10am... and at times not even delivered. I called the Times office several times and asked them to stop the newspaper delivery due to very bad service, and was told once the subscription amount is exhausted the delivery will be stopped. However, now the delivery boy is demanding money for the past few months of paper delivered. I was under the impression that the paper is delivered for the several complaints raised.. as a service gesture.. However, this is not the case as realised now. The boy never comes when we are at home, at times, had to ask the watchman to know if the boy had come as there is no trace of the paper.
No one at the Times office respond to the phone calls made.. 23355335, this is one of the worst of the kind of service one can expect for a newspaper of such stature.
Hope the people at Times would be sensible enough and act to atleast reduce the complaints..
Appreciate if you can look into the issue.

Times of India,News Paper — Annual Subscription Paid,paper not received even after 50 days.

Dear Sir/Madam,
self has paid the annual Subscription at the time of Book fair.The Representative told that the News paper will come from, 1st of February 2010.self has complained to CRM also.So for no solution.Self is staying in Porur.My Number is [protected].

Please could somebody give the contact nos of the agents in the Begumpet, Shyamlal area.They have collected the 6 month subscription and then just stopped the paper after a week.How can TOI, hyderabad just be doing nothing about this.

I understand from the above posts that this has become a common issue and is affecting people across the city.Could someone give me the email id and contact nos of the Customer Care hyderabad.I shall also take this up with their head officein Mumbai.

I guess it is only in Hyderabad that this foul play is happening.It is so painful not to be able to receive the paper every morning...a habit for the last 40 years.Somebody...could you help out with the nos and the email id please.
