Dear Sir/ Madam,
I purchased a Timex watch model No.NA 33 on 18/02/2013. Within two months i.e on 03/04/2013, it stopped working.
I gave the watch to Time Factory- Franchisee Pioneer Marketing at Door No. 14-2-102/3 Ground Floor., Manmit Arcade, Balmata Road, Mangalore 575001 for replacement. Instead of replacing the watch they sent it to Bangalore and got it serviced and returned on 17/04/2013. Once again on 15th May the watch ran into trouble and when it was taken for filing complaint the franchisee was dismantling the shop. It appeared they were renovating the shop.They took the watch and when approached the franchisee was found missing.But the franchisee intelligently (or foolishly) took the original bill of the product and informed that it will be returned when the watch is replaced.
When the Bangalore office was contacted, they informed that the watch has reached Bangalore and ready to be sent to Watch world, Opposite Poonja International, Mangalore. As informed by them we received the watch at Watch World, Opposite Poonja International, Mangalore.
Once again on Wednesday 3rd October 2013 the watch stopped working. When the watch was taken to Watch World, Opposite Poonja International, Mangaloreon Thursday, the dealer informed us that that they have been receiving many complaints regarding sale of Timex watches by Franchisee Pioneer Marketing at Door No. 14-2-102/3 Ground Floor., Manmit Arcade, Balmata Road, Mangalore 575001 and that they are not in a position to help and asked us to approach the Consumer Court for defective service.
What should be done? Please advice.
