[Resolved] Tin. Tin. Nsdl.com — Pan Card NOt received | |
Although my PAN card was dispatched on 25 Feb 2008, it is yet to be received. My PAN no is AYYPK9362P... The tin website says it was dispatched by POST. All my colleagues have received by Courier. In this day and age, why are they sending by POST, that too, to few unfortunate people. I called at their help-desk, They have "set" it to busy, have sent them emails, no use. This is yadaiah i was apply my pan last 4 months back i did not get my pan card. i called nsdl they said to me we allated your pan no. and ur pan card was dispatched.shorty u can get. But till i am not getting right now. No body can not take respossablety how can i get my pan pls tell me as soon as possable sir i want very aurgently my pan no. i should be submite my company.

I have applied for my PAN card in September 2008. I still not received it yet. I send e-mails to them and not replied. I asked where to complain and I am not receiving any reply from them. They have taken the money from my account. If any one will help me in this aspect I will be very thankful to you.If anyone knows where to complain or whom to contact please forward the address to my e-mail. They do not answer the emails or answer the phone.

Dear fellow applicants,
If you apply online you go to the NSDLPAN website given below and see the posting on it. If it says couriered, it means it has been couriered to the given address. But the courier boys in India are as unreliable as the Postmen. They collect the letters from the office and sleep over it or bring back to say that it could not be delivered or they say it was delivered and destroy the envelope. NSDL relies completely on these unreliable courier services.
If the NSDL sends by mail, it means the the document already sent by courier had been returned undelivered.
If the NSDL shows it is under process, it means the documents have not been received or the document received does not support the appication data 100%.
The rules framed is sometimes unreasonable. The government wants a document with PHOTO on it and the documents should have exactly identical names found on the application form. Some people have initials only and that is not acceptable. Most documents will have middle names invariably abbreviated by the issuing agencies which the NSDL does not accept. In America, the middle names are invariably abbreviated. In India they want fully expanded name but they want all documents submitted to have identical names as written in the application form. These short-sighted government colonial policies cause untold misery to the applicant. The government must help the common citizens shedding colonial policies which is a vestige of a bygone era and appoint a reliable professional agency of couriers. The existing courier services are most unprofessional, more unprofessional than the Indian post office. Till the government improves there is no solution to these problems. As a last resort you will have to apply again canceling the previous application if the Pancard has not been allotted yet. You better apply again if the correction to the pan card is needed. Hope I have explained the matter to your satisfaction.

I got one letter from Income Tax Department dated on 26/02/2003 through the letter I got the pan number. My pan card number is AETPA5472R in the letter they mentioned that laminated pan card is under preparation, but still I could not get my pan card. Kindly send the pan card as early as possible.
