Although I have written to the authorities informing that some of the details on my Pan Card, namely the spelling of my father and my name are incorrect, to date I have not received a reply.
Judging by the letters received, the people in the Pan Card Department do not know how to spell and the grammar is appauling.

tininfo — No answer to emails, no allotment of PAN
I have applied for new PAN vide Ack no. [protected] on 26.02.2011 from Baroda. The same was delivered on 28.02.2011 to Hyderabad as per Blue Dart tracking details. More than a month has passed by and PAN has not been allotted.Upon making inquiry with Tin Call Centre at Pune, we are informed that the form has not reached their Hyderabad Office. The person at call centre asked me to contact Hyderabad office, which again has no clue. It is their internal matter and the same should be sorted out between them instead of asking us to call here and there.
