Voltage of 150 volt and below in my house during night hours(between 8pm to 11pm) because of this
I am facing lot of problem and I lost two SMPS of my computer so kindly take a step to solve the issue.

Let me know about deposit rules and regulations, For your kind information we have paid deposit last year and again they are asking deposit mention along with reading bill. they have not mention individual details for deposit and current reading amount.

chennai 21 — reading problem
siri am in oldwashermenpet & i am an enngg coll student.last time your tneb employee doesnt take reading on my home. i pay the bill as CCD. and i inform to them tat my father expire.so pls alert my mom when you come to take reading the bill.but they wont alert me.this month also they didnt take reading in my home. so pls notice this and take action about this... and how can i pay the bill this month any fine or formality this time ...reply me..

I am residing in Karthikeyapuram 7th street, Madipakkam. We are facing frequent power cuts and power fluctuation. Incremental flats are approved without checking for sufficient power supply from transformer leads to power cuts and voltage drop during the mid night. We are unable to sleep properly and concentrate on next day work. New apartment is under construction with 12 houses in the 7th street, after the completion of the same we will be facing lots and lots of difficulties with power shortage. It is will be very helpful if separate transformer is provided to our area to lead healthy and peaceful life. Please ask concerned officer to look into this as soon as possible.

this is still continuing till 2011 may in madipakkam veeramani st and around, worst EB. it's past mid night here now and still no one slept at my home. Useless government and the EB board. worried that we may have to loose the AC in few days due to this voltage fluctuation inspite of the stablizers as it gets switched off every one minute. down down EB board madipakkam.

I live in a 5 flat apartment in govindasamy nagar, madipakkam. I'm having a serious low voltage problem and after 6~7 pm everyday it drops much more. I'm having the exact problems said by mr. S.Bharathkumaar almost 2 years ago. Still no action taken on this issue by the local EB officials. Approving apartments without calculating the power distribution is the biggest problem in this area. And still it worsens as the total tamil nadu power generation crisis grows. If anybody can take up this issue to higher officials, please do it to correct.

I am staying in Ullagaram for the past 26 years. Here we have a very bad voltage fluctuation. We are not able to run ACs after 9 PM. The worst part is fan would run as if it is running in 1st or 2nd point. To add to this misery, we have got more flats coming around our house.
The only solution is that the EB department should install trasnformers and also urge the flat promoters to install separate transformers for their flats.
Hope this would get notified and the problem gets resolved.

its same across all areas in madippakam. dont we deserve to sleep at nights like any other in chennai, are we paying any less for electricity than anyother in chennai? please address the electricity problems at madippakam. if some one knew the actual procedure to have this addressed, please share.
We are and facing similar issues at Keelkattalai, SRVS colony. The Voltage drops below 160V, after 8pm and the fans are changing speeds constantly, I am not sure if the current frequency is proper or stable in addition to the voltage fluctuations. Moreover even during daytime the TV gets switched off because Stabilizer has low input voltage, same with PC and all electrical appliances. I appeal to the EB department to install power distribution Transformers in the area as quickly as possible.

I am a resident of Pillaiyar koil lane, Velachery. For the past 3 weeks, we are facing very bad power fluctuation and voltage drops here. We are using double booster stabilizera for AC. Even after that, there is no difference. The basic electrical euqipments like fans, lights are also not working. Even the mobile chargers are not working and spoiled due to this. Request TNEB to take necessary steps IMMEDIATELY to solve this problem.

We are facing power fluctuation problem in Yogeswaran street, Madipakkam. After 8 PM, i could not on my PC and AC. I have changed my SMPS twice due low power. It is very sad that the problem is still not solved. It is my humble request to Madipakkam EB office, please rectify the problem and save our costly electronic devices.
I am resident in Rajarathinam 1st street, Ullagaram, Chennai. In our street there is always Low Voltage Problem everyday during Night( 9pm to 7am). Due to this problem, No street light is getting switched ON and our street is always dark in Night. Also No Tube Light and Fan is getting switched ON properly and Not working properly inside the house. Many people are suffering due to Low Voltage problem that exists Full Night. So kindly take necessary step to resolve this Low Voltage problem in Ullagaram.

good morning sir, sir we are people complaints for 23100 cc for one amount, 48100 cc deposit another amount, not clear by my branch eb officeVoltage fluctuation/frequent stoppage of power
Nolambur, Sakthi nagar 3rd avenue- we face frequent stoppage of power and daily voltage fluctuation ( 145 to 190 v) even using 2 booster stabilisers we are not able to run our A/c units in this scorching summer. Complained orally to the JE, Nolambur but there is no support/action.(several times) These TNEB Guys are not working properly. During 2008 i shifted to Madipakkam and till now the issue was not sorted out... what the hell they are doing? Such a Worthless TNEB people...

UPS — ON/OFF SWITCH Need to be replaced & need check the dropping Voltage
Dear all,From Past one Month weekly twice i am calling to your Call Center, Every time i talk to your people they telling there is shortest of Engginners, we will try to send within this week, Even till day they did not send a single engg.
