Hi, this is Yoginder working with a real estate company. If you feel that the builder moving by his own words I would suggest you to hire any advocate to get your deposit money back along with compensation i.e. interest of the deposit amount.
But beside the above view, I also wish to apprise you another point of view that this exercise keeps on happening with every big Real Estate Company. Belief that no company wants to give pain to its valued customers & try to give possession on time & as per specification which has been written in Builder Buyer Agreement. But unknowingly somehow, circumstances changes & creates problem in their way, accordingly they have to make some miner/major change in respective projects to get the same complete. In doing that exercise many of hidden hard things have to face by these developers. They neither want to loose their customer nor the project. I also with to introduce you with some statutory approvals which have to take by every developer from the different Govt department before the project start & builders have to follow them till the project end. If Govt change some plains accordingly respectively builders also have to change specification for their project.
In that particular stage of time what I would suggest you is, you just have a meeting with marketing people, management people to get your complaint solve. Else go to court to get the needful done as per your convenience

Today Homes Blossoms — Possession delay / Construction quality
Inordinate and unending delays in handing over possession of builder floors of more than 1-2 years. Construction quality is poor - specially the wood work is pathetic.
