[Resolved] Trains - Circar Express — Passengers being cheated by attendance
It happens always when I travel in Circar Express which goes from Kakinada to Chennai. I dont know why we have to pay 725 Rs for travelling in 3rd A/C without getting pillows and bedsheets as we do in all the other trains. We have to beg the attendor who rarely comes inside the compartment for getting these. Its a must for them to provide these in the A/C compartments. Last time when I came by this train I boarded the train at 4 in Rajahmundry. I did not get any pillows or bedsheets after getting in. when I asked the Ticket Collector about that he said that we would get them only after Vijayawada comes. Strange!!! Then after five and half hours vijayawada came. It was 9 15 when the train left Vijayawada. I waited till 10 for the attendor to come. Then he came with one blanket. When i enquired about the bedsheet he said that he would bring them but he did not. Then at 10.15 i went to his place and asked the bedsheet. He gave me a single bedsheet (generally they give two). When I asked him where the other one is he replied "THERE IS A SHORTAGE OF BEDSHEETS". How can this happen?? Is the Railways not looking into this matter? Once when i travelled in the non a/c compartment in Circar i saw these attendors selling pillows and bedsheets for 20 Rs. Are they doing this officially?? This is really bad. And Railways ought to take necessary action against this.
