[Resolved]  Travel Date:18 Dec '09; Garib Rath 2909, coach J-3 — Poor condition of Bedding

Re: Garib Rath 2909 AC 3 Tier, Coach G-3, Travel date: 18th December 2008:

I and my other co-passengers in coach G-3 of Garib Rath 2909 were given beddings on payment of Rs. 25, however, these beddings were found to be very shabby, un-washed, un-ironed and full of stains.

On our repeated complaints to the coach attendant Mr.Satyanarayan Ray and to the T/C, the beddings were finally replaced, however, even the replaced beddings were also of no better condition.

Further, even after our repeated calls, the complaint book was not produced, nor was the supervisor called.

Hope necessary action would be taken to ensure maintenance of expected standards of hygiene and hospitality from Indian Railways.
