[Resolved]  TVS scooty pep + — Silencer not replaced even after 2 weeks

I had given my TVS Scooty Pep+ TN09AY2593 for replacement of defective silencer to M/s.Maruti Automobiles, Chennai 33 on 31.07.2009. The vehicle is still in warranty period and the agency staff told me that it would get the free replacement from their dealer M/s.Ramkay Agencies, Chennai and give it in 2-3 days. Till now, even after 12 days i have not received the vehicle and whenever i make a phone call, the standard reply is that they had ordered for 60 silencers, which is yet to come from the manufacturers. I have spent more on auto fare than what i would have paid if i had gone for paid-replacement.

I am very much disappointed at the level of service provided by a so-called reliable TVS group. Concerned persons may look it into the issue and do the needful.
