[Resolved] TVS victor GL — worst/junk bike i have ever seen

Hi, There is this bike TVS Victor-GL, probably worst bike ever made. I don't know what mess has been created by TVS engineers, sometime i feel cycle is better than this bike. I don't know what is the problem it gives me lot of trouble in starting, even if it starts sometime it stops while running, then it will take another half hour to start again. If i am going somewhere then i need to make sure that i don't stay in between otherwise it is almost sure then i need to kick it for another half hour. and this is even when i keeps my worst bike in good condition, three days back only it got serviced but its problem of starting, stopping in between remains the same. Lack of on time service after sales from TVS Motor co.
Complaint # 9027,
I have TVS victor GL bike since 2003. From last 2 months I am trying to replace complete engine by new one by paying advance from authorised service centre. Initially he told me, it will be available maximum 2 week time. Till date engine not reached in service centre from TVS or no any firm commitment given to he or me also. By end of Oct'11, I have contacted TVS service manager, Pune for follow-up immediately, but no use at all. I am very very disappointed on TVS Motor co.service after sales. I have missed vehicle exchange oppournity in Daseera / Diwali. I am requesting TVS Motor co.to look on major spare parts availability on time, so customer will be happy.Another thing now I realised why most of the people buy Hero Honda or Bajaj bike. Does anybody from TVS look and reslove this immediately? Thanks in advance.

yes the problem lies with the GL But try starting the bike like the bullet dont put pressure on the kicker but slowly kick to the end slowly you may get the vehicle started easily I also have the same bike but after trying like this the bike starts easily

If you have starting problem with your bike change your spark plug to NGK Iridium...

tv's victor starts in half kick .but petrol tank is made of worst sheet metal.I am having 2002 gl model starts instantly in the morning. check your petrol quality . how to start in the morning winter or rainy season give choke do not accelerate.use ngk cr7 spark plug. I ran my bike 70, 000km.no starting trouble.still running solid built only problem in petrol tank leakage
