[Resolved] Unitech — Delay in refund of Fixed deposits | |||
I had invested for a Fixed deposit scheme o[censored]nitech (UL/FD/B/050286 & 287 ) which was due to expire on 4 Feb 2011.The request forms for withdrawal of the fixed deposits were signed and gived to Bajaj capital ltd( channel partners o[censored]nitech ltd) well in advance. However it was surprising to note that the matured amount was returned to us only on 7 march, 2011 which is a 1 month delay.Hence we have lost 1 month interest due to the delay by Unitech limited to refund us the our money.I request the company to compensate me for the loss of interest of 1 month. Otherwise I will be compelled to file a case in the consumer court for the loss incurred. I would suggest you not to start on an angry note here. Maturing of FD and delivery of matured amount takes a lot of paper work between the two channel partners. I am sure that is the only reason for the delay, in which case you should not get worked up. I would suggest you to take the matter in a light spirit.

UNITECH LIMITED FIXED DEPOSIT — DELAY IN PAYMENT
Dear Sir,I have invested in a fixed deposit schme amt .5 lakh on 26/06/2010.My receipt no -UL/FD/B/049299.
My account no -063469. for period of 12 months.
As required I have sent a original receipt with signed for redemtion 21 days in advance.
MY maturity date was 26/06/2011.
we have tried to contact unitec office but only recorded message.
we have not received any interest .
Please help us when we will receive the deposit amt and interest .

Unitech Limited — UNUSUAL DELAY IN REFUND OF INTEREST AND MATURITY AMOUNT.
Our FDR's with Unitech Limited were UNUSUALLY DELAYED FOR REFUND OF INTEREST AND MATURITY AMOUNT i.e. six months FDR's were delayed for refund by over two months. FDR'S in question are B047506, B035076, B038126, B038124, 1011826 1nd1011827. Repeated tele calls and emails have elicited no response. Perhaps they will listen to Consumer Court and or bad publicity like in this forum.
Unitech is into fixed deposits for more than 20-25 years. They have never let their investors down though there have been numerous ups and downs in the economy and sector. It is one of a rare company where intentions of promoters are pure. Have patience. At times delay happens due to technical problems. I am sure you will receive your matured FD's shortly.

Myself Sweta Roy is also suffering from the same problem. My maturity date has been over since October 2015. If the organisation is a fraud, IPC must be after them. So many steps are being taken against corruption, why this type of misdeeds are still happening? I want to get my amount back at any cost at the earliest
