United National Packers & Movers — Irresponsible Transport Company
I booked my car on 11-June-09 from Pune to Gorakhpur.Delivery date mentioned on my slip was 17-June-09.
Today it is 22-June-09 and there is no whereabout of my car.
Calling of national helpline number of company, call attendents say that car would be delivered by next day but god knows when does this next day come.
National helpline number is [protected], [protected].
The verbal behaviour of the employees are at all non cooperative at all point of my coversation.
Whenever i tried to persuade them to expediate the processing of my car delivery, they very rudley, either avoided to give correct information or disconnected the call after saying we would intimate you as soon as your car reach Gorakhpur.
From my experience, I would like goverment to take necessary step and ban this company for transportation. Also my advise to customer is not to opt for this company for any transportation purpose.
United National Packers & Movers — Cheating Clients on Insurance
Dear Sir / Madam,The undersigned is an employee of Alstom Projects India Limited.
The undersigned used the services of M/s United National Packers & Movers (UNPM) for relocation from Mumbai to Noida. UNPM did give a quote to relocate the undersigned’s personal belongings with full insurance amount of Rs.1,50,000/- from United India Insurance. To this effect the quote was levied with Rs.4,500 as premium for Insurance (UNPM Quotation Ref No. GP 079 dated 16/08/2009, UNPM Consignment No. DS-5123 dated 30/09/2009).
The undersigned was surprised by the quality of second grade used packing boxes used by UNPM during the relocation day. Also, the personnel lacked the required skill for packing and hence proper care was not give for glass and fragile items.
When the items reached the destination UNPM was late than the estimated time of arrival. Also, all its boxes barring 10 out of 86 were open and worn out. The un-packers did face a lot of difficulty to carry the boxes through lift.
Upon unpacking the following items were found to be damaged:
1. Refrigerator (320 Lts) – The body of the refrigerator was dented from all sides and one of the wheel and the left front leg of the refrigerator was completely damaged and went missing.
2. Television (21”) – The front décor and plastic panel of the LG television was completely damaged and chipped off.
3. Glass Centre table – Completely destroyed with only the stand remaining.
4. 4 wooden and glass bookshelves – All of them had scratches on the wooden panel.
5. Godrej Almira – The steel almira had dents on all sides thereby making the locks very difficult to open and close.
6. The glass on the top of the chest of drawers was broken and all crockery pairs were broken and
7. 90% glass and crystal objects were broken.
When UNPM did give the quote to the undersigned, UNPM specified that the full payment shall be made after delivery of goods at Noida. While unloading UNPM did make sure that the full payment be made first and then unloading and delivery of car be done. Furthermore the undersigned was also told to collect the car from their Gurgaon Storage after 2 days as the car would arrive late. As full payment was already made and UNPM shall not bear extra expenses for door to door delivery hence the car was to be collected from Gurgaon Storage.
Upon full payment (vide UNPM Money Receipt Sr. No. DS/885 dt. 05/10/2009 for Rs.20,000/- and UNPM Money Receipt SR. No. DS/927 dt. 09/10/2009 for Rs.13,509) UNPM bluntly specified that whatever claim you have to make can be made through United India Insurance Co. To this effect UNPM did not give the undersigned any contact details or papers for claim of insurance. Also, the undersigned was instructed over telephone by Mr. Manoj Bharadwaj o[censored]NPM ([protected]), Ms. Karishma[protected] and Mr. Rajnesh Choudhary o[censored]NPM ([protected]) to dispose off all damaged items as UNPM has already iniciated steps to process claims through insurance from United India Insurance Co. for Rs.78,900/- (as mentioned in details in the items delivered list o[censored]NPM). Additionally, the undersigned had also taken evidence from the unpackers (namely Mr. Rajinder Sharma, Mr. Deepak, Mr. Sandeep Kumar and Mr. Sanjay Kumar) that the items listed above were damaged by UNPM. A copy of the signed evidence is on record with the undersigned.
The undersigned have till date not received any claim receipt for insurance from either UNPM nor United India Insurance Co. irrespective of repeated reminders to UNPM. The undersigned did loose most of the precious glass items which were precious memories collected by the undersigned over years. Also, after repeated request the undersigned was given reply by Mr. Rajnesh Choudhary ([protected], Off: Door No. T Y/B-6, Super Market, Opp. Maharashtra Kanta Bus Stop, Sakinaka, Andheri East, Mumbai – 72, Email: [protected]@unitedpackermovers.com, Website: www.unitedpackersmovers.com) that please blacklist our concern and knock the door o[censored]nited India Insurance Co. for any claim as they do not have time to listen to customer complains. The unsersigned had raised claims worth Rs.78,900/- which is still pending.
The undersigned requests all concerned not to use the services o[censored]NPM for their possessed possessions because UNPM does not take proper care to treat the belongings of their clients as their own and neither do UNPM have the curtsy to be sorry or take up the matter in a hassle free process. Also the undersigned would request the grivance redressal cell to take proper action against UNPM for defrauding their valued customers.
Most o[censored]NPM personnel are new recruits and do not know anything about the functioning of UNPM as UNPM does not even take the responsibility of tracing their own vehicles/careers and donot have any co-ordination between the states in India.
It is my urge and request from the deep of my heart not to trust UNPM or its employees for relocation. For any further clarification or proofs or information you may contact the undersigned at [protected]@yahoo.co.in
Hope the above information was useful to you and your organization and you shall iniciate appropriate steps to stop such culprits from functioning. Also, I would request the grivance redressal cell to cancel the registration o[censored]NPM and help the undersigned to recover the damages.
Warm regards,
Santanu Roy

United National Packers & Movers — Terrible and unacceptable service
I am terribly disappointed with the kind of service that was offered by them. These people are culprits who attract customers using cheap price quotes and later blackmail you to charge almost double the price.I had utilized the service o[censored]nited National Packers and Movers while transferring my household items from Pune to Cochin.
I was quite surprised to read positive comments about this company and as a consumer myself would like to warn everyone from even considering them for any form of packing or moving. The company is tech savvy and hence flaunt a fancy website and positive sounding words. But the service is exact opposite.
All boxes packed by them were opened and robbed of expensive items. I am attaching pictures here as evidence of their negligent handling and theft. The furniture received was broken and in bad shape.
