VAIO Laptop : VPCEB32EN — Poor & Delayed service

My Sony VIAO Laptop ( Model no VPCEB32EN) purchased on 29th September, 2010, was having some problem in Startup.
I reached out to a SONY Authorized service center ( RMS Technologies Pvt Ltd, Jayanagar, Bangalore), on 12 December, 2010.
They promised me to inform me about the problem by 12th evening itself, but there was no info given.
When I call them to inquire about it, they say that it is under observation and they can tell about the problem in 2-3 days.
Two days after when i inquire about the problem, they say that they dont have CD , so it will be brought from the head office , and they are also not sure about this also.
I didnt expect this kind of service from SONY. What was under observation if the laptop was not working at all?
Are these service centres short of funding, that they dont even posses a CD to diagnose or fix a problem.
My work is being so much affected due to this, but why would SONY bother about that.
I made a mistake, by dealing with such a company.
