[Resolved]  Varishta Bima Penssion Yojana — Nominee not paid the amount after the demise of the policy holder

The policy No[protected], in the name of Mrs.Meenakshy.L.and Vinod G, as nominee.The policy holder expired on 20-10-08.The original policy along with other claim forms were submitted with CA branch, Bangalore on 7-11-08(ack.no.15506).Till today there is no information about the matter.My enquiry with the said office has not fetched any reply.The pension has been credited even on 3-12-08(after the demise of the policy holder)which means that the LIC has not taken any action in spite of nearly one month after the submission of documents.The rule says that the pension will cease from the day the policy holder expires.Why this inordinate delay?
