[Resolved]  Varun Vihar Co-op group housing society — Mismgmt by the mgmt

For many years now, the mgmt of Varun Vihar(Plot #12) CGHS in Sector 9, Rohini, Delhi has been a pain to the residents.Her's a snapshot

1)The condition of roads is just too pathetic

2)No managed parking.Time to make a note of the same is after 8:00pm and before 7:00am

3)Unauthorised space usage by the mgmt: Need to exlain this issue in more detail. Two of the mgmt members who have been in the mgmt committe initially have been misusing their original member status.
a)Have got unauthorised construction done on more than the allowed space. Flat #s for thses members are A2-34 (ground Floor), Mr Singh.
b)Two of the mgmt members (one of them being Mr Singh as mentioned above and other Mr Choudhary of A1-19 and A1-22(owning both flats) are also misusing their authority of dominating the public park space. Mr Singh (A2-34) has got this entire row of pots put on the park boundary to ensure nobody else can enter the same.Mr Choudhary gets the entire park (more than 50%) of space filled with water everytime which makes it impossible for other kids to play there. Parks are supposed to be public proprty and used in benefit of all residents and not under influence of just one of the residents

4)Co-incidentaly whoever take the mgmt resonsbility (90%) gets hike or some hidden treasure that their entire flats get renovated,and suddenly they can afford luxury items like AC, high end refrigerators. What do we assume?:-) ..We don't want to assume anything if tshings would have been smooth and circumstances ideal that public money was getting utilised in public benefit. Alas! that is what is not hapening

5)Garderners employed for the public parks are tending to the pots and plants of the Mgmt flats more than tending to the parks.

Few of the workers whom they they have been supporting with money (I should say bribing) are too rude with other residents.

Support reqd is:
1)Bulldozer to be sent by Co-op Group Housing Society head office to remove the entire unauthorised construction that is there in the society

2)Personal property being put to hijack the space in public parks should be thrown out of the society (Mr Singh's pots fo instance)

3)Strict warning to be sent (verbally and in writing) to these two and other Mgmt members not to misuse the public property. Plants dont need to be watered 8 hrs a day. Its just an excuse f not letting the rest of residents and kids not use the park which is facing their flats. Pots with plants are good as far as they are not a hindrance or road blockage to the oldies who wnt to sit their and relax or kids who wnt to play arnd. Kids are scolded, shouted and sent away whenver they wnt to play in the park.

4)Warning also to be issued to the Mgmt in action to work something in the interest of public welfare. Last time roads were repaired some 2-3 yrs back that too cannot comment on quality of material used that after a month only the results were evident.

5)Account Books to be inspected. Few lakhs of Rs were shown in books against nursery purchased. It is definately not a 40-50 acre fully green gardens that we need 5-6 lakhs of nursery seeds and grass.

6)Inspection to be on monthly basis to start with till situation coes under control.

Expecting yor support and co-operation.In case this is not the correct forum; please advice where do I need to raise this complaint.
