[Resolved]  Videocon D2H — no customer service - purely harrassment

We bought a videocon washing machine which is fully automatic roughly around 8 year back.. we used it for few years and after which it started giving some problems... now till the date nobody at videocon has been able to help us out and it was purely a harrassment procedure which had happened with their different departments.

How can they expect form a middle class family to buy such gadgets after every few yearss.. they have to give some repairs and maintenance services for which we are ready to pay.. they have simply raised their hands telling..they cant do anything.. INfact during such procedure they have made the machine unusable by breaking few other things..

Animax is an entertaining channel. It gives its viewer a wide variety of ANIMES to choose and watch. Unlike CN or POGO it does not shows any boring cartoons like Tom & Jerry or Chhota Bheem. I think they should reconsider the idea of removing ANIMAX. It would make its fans a little happy.
Upgrade to videocon d2h high definition via d2h online. Cudt id 46955069, complain no[protected].
This is most useless service provider in india only consumer court may help u. Do not use any of their services

Videocon D2H — Not resolving the problem

First there was no signal found error on Friday Complaint was registered with Videocon D2H,a Person came and Swaped the Set top on Saturday and they charged Rs.725 there some other error message which started displaying on TV from Saturday,sunday and Monday(same error message) untill now there is no resolution it.

Whoever reads this email, please go through the earlier conversation in this email. It has been more than a year since I have registered complaints regarding a VBS63.CVL1-CR Air Conditioner which I purchased in the month of May 2012. After my complaint registered in April, I have the same problems ongoing till date 4 more times and I have stopped keeping track of the complaint numbers as I am done with you guys. This is a formal notice that I am going to the consumer court as till date I have not received any satisfactory results from any of the engineers that have visited and made the air conditioner a useful peace of crap. In 1 year and 2 months of buying this product, I have complained around 12-15 times of gas leakage and it never got resolved. I am done with requesting and writing you guys and complaining and wasting my time and now it’s high time and I am going to the consumer court as I have enough evidence of your unsatisfactory results and services.

You would receive a court notice very soon through mail. Meet you guys at the court.

This is to inform you that today I called up “Vijaybhai Shah – [protected]”on his cell and inquired him if he was going to send anyone to check the machine or get it re-filled and the answer/fake excuse I get from him is that currently all of his staffs are busy in a training and they don’t have time but would try and send someone in the evening around 6 pm. I said this was a fake excuse because when I called up this guy, I could clearly listen that he was either watching a movie at his home or might be in a theater or something because the noise in the background didn’t sound like any training sessions as even I have taken many training sessions. Its 8 pm right now and neither his men nor did I receive any of the call from any of the customer care to solve my problem.

Enough of this of customer care excuses, I feel like I am begging you guys to get my complaint resolved and its you guys who are just doing time pass with me and don’t give a damn about any customers and you forget that these guys are getting paid to solve the customers’ problems and not make them feel that they are losers and had done a great mistake by choosing a product of your company where there is nothing called “customer satisfaction”. I am pissed off right now and I am not going to entertain any of the so-called fake engineers enter my premises but am going to pay some guy to uninstall the machine and dump it from where I took it and am proceeding ahead to meet my lawyer to sue you guys in the consumer court as I cannot take this any more. I beg your pardon for my language but I guess you have not read my email at all and what all I have faced and just forwarded my mail to any department that is taking care and your job is done. I hope you would had kept yourself in my shoes and tried to think as a customer.

There won’t be any more email conversation from my end as this is my last email and after this all the emails that I have sent are going to be proof of my approach to you guys in hopes of solution but no help from your end as well. Am very much disappointed by this.

My name is Rajesh Tomlinson and I am from Baroda, Gujarat. I bought a Videocon VBS63.CVL1-CR Air Conditioner in the month of May 2012 and am quite unsatisfied with this product and now I am so much pissed off that I am thinking to dump it off somewhere and get rid of it or give it into any cheap exchange offer and get at least satisfactory product of any other company but not of VIDEOCON. The reason being that since the beginning of purchasing this product, my AC is just giving me the feel of a fan and after every couple of months it has a problem of gas leakage which has never been solved to date. This has been a very old problem which has never been resolved. The use of this AC is just in the summers but even in last summer, I had a hell of a time following up with the guys (so called engineers) to give me a final solution for this problem but till date, that day has not come.

You could check in your case history/records of my conversations earlier under my name Rajesh Aubrey Tomlinson with my registered mobile number as [protected] that since the day of purchase I am facing the same problem every now and then. I don’t have my earlier complaints number and its details as I knew this would happen again but since it’s the beginning of summer, I started using my AC and it gave me the same everlasting problem and the beginning of complaints and fake solutions. For example, on 29th March 2013 I made a complaint (AHM [protected]) that my AC is not working and needs service as I was using it after some 7 to 8 months and there was this engineer named “Fadke Ajay – [protected]” assigned to my complaint, just like other engineers in the past, he also gave me the same reason that its gas leakage problem and that’s the reason its not giving me any cooling and that he would solve it permanently and send in a guy to re-fill the gas and the AC is fully functional and has no other problems. He was a no show for 3 days even after taking follow up calls and he is just giving me excuses and then all of a sudden gives me some guys’ name that I don’t remember stating that he is his senior and he would be sending some guy at my place. That guy was so rude and rough over the phone that he literally told me that I have to wait until his men get a chance to visit nearby my place as he is traveling some other locations and have to wait for my turn at my place and this is the process and this is how it goes and if I want to wait then wait or else do whatever I want to do or complaint wherever I want to and disconnected the phone by hanging it over my face. I was never humiliated in my life with such a character and I wish he was in front of me so I could have given him a proper answer on his face. On 2nd April 2013 after again complaining in the customer care regarding this incident, they sent in a guy to re-fill gas in the compressor and I don’t know whether that person was qualified enough or not, he never checked any pressure with any meter, just filled in some gas for some time and without even checking whether it is been properly filled or not said that its working now and it wont give any more problem and told me to sign the paper where it says that this issue had been resolved. I asked him what if it happens again and he replied that it won’t happen again and it happens again then I again need to call up the customer care and report the problem. I signed in the papers as I had no option though I knew that just like in the past it would be a problem again of gas leakage and it happened again. Since yesterday 14th April, 2013, just 12 days after re-filling the gas and closing my complaint (AHM [protected]), my AC is again working as a fan and not giving me any cooling and I know that again it’s the gas leakage problem and so I complained again in the morning 15th April 2013 and got another complaint number (AHM [protected]) registered stating that it would be engineered through “Vijaybhai Shah – [protected]”. This guy’s name ringed a bell in my mind as he was the person who was first assigned when I had the gas leakage problem just after a month of buying this new AC. He gives me a call and says that he would send in an engineer in late afternoon and get it resolved but I get a call at 7 in the evening from his engineer “Hanif – [protected]” that he wont be able to come today and he has some visit to some other place so he would try to come in tomorrow to check it up.

I am not sure whether this new guy “Hanif” would come or not but one thing is sure that just like these guys making me fool since a year, even this time they would succeed by saying that the problem is resolved and then after a couple of months, the same thing happens again and I like a fool again make a complaint and it would be assigned to some new engineer and the story goes on. Is this called “customer satisfaction”??? My free service would be over after a month then later on I have to pay for the gas re-filled in the compressor as I don’t think you guys would be giving me any free offer. My question to you guys is why are you keeping a product in market without any checking or any kind of R&D??? What was my fault that I chose to be a member of Videocon family leaving other company’s products behind and now suffering? Why???

This is the last time I am mailing you in hopes to get some prompt results or at least a permanent resolution to my problem or else I don’t have any other ways left except to go to consumer court, sue you guys and/or publish this email to every network and professional website and publish it to newspaper and media as well as I don’t want that other people should go in for such service and sufferings. Either give me a permanent solution, or I want to have my AC replaced as its still under warranty/guarantee period. I cannot take this anymore as the purpose of buying this AC was to help my aged mom and my sister who is also a patient of arthritis to get rid of summer with temperature of 40-42 degrees of heat but it’s useless as I can’t use my AC.

Hope to hear the final time from you guys before I proceed ahead and take some legal actions. I apologize if my contents of the mail hurt you in anyways but keep yourself in my shoes and you could realize why I said so.

COMPLAINT DESCRIPTION

I had purchased Videocon D2H couple of months ago. Now, the STB is having fault and I had raised a complaint to look into the issue. Still no one has cared to look into this issue. It is a total carelessness from Videocon. If this is going to their service, I want them to pay back my deposit amount of Rs.3000.
