This is very much irritating to receive such offer letter in the name of such a reputed company. People get confused and I am sure many of them might have deposited the money with the thought of getting the job. And for many of them it might be hard earned money. Not all have the knowledge of visiting the Company website and check the authenticity of the email.
I would request the Company Authorities especially from the HR Department to release a press statement or post the same on the company website or even release a general email to all informing that there are no such 'Videocon Direct Recruitment Offer' mails sent out by the Company.
I think this is very serious as it is directly affecting the reputation of such a good Company.

I have received such a mail and when i called on the no. provided i happened to have spoken to a person who had a heavy african accent. When i spoke to him, enquired of his nationality, he told me that he was an indian, born in u.k. and all that crap. When i sent an email on the id asking to confirm, i audaciously received another email confirming about the interview.
ALL CRAP, Request the authorities of Videocon Electronics, to pls check into this and bring these fraudulent people to the books.
