[Resolved]  Vodafone Blackberry Plan 1099 Unlimited — Vodafone charging me huge amt for using unlimited plan

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I bought a black berry 1099 plan for unlimited usage of the net.
Vodafone barred my services the next day stating that I has passed the credit limit and
should make a payment. Please note - this was a black berry unlimited plan. and I have not
made more than 5 GSM outgoing call for a SIM for which I was charged 99/= and a plan.

I wrote to vodafone and they have not replied till date. I wrote to their Nodal office and he/she has not care to respond back. Please assist if you can before I go to court for mental harrasement.

Do note I want to use a black berry service and I still don't have that service from vodafone.
I requested that they disconnect my serbice as they have charged me a huge amount.

Dear Shabana,

I took a telephone number from Vodafone store (Fort-Mumbai) and you had attended to me.

I have some issues here.

1. You informed me that my Plan - BBP 1099 was Unlimited internet usage for 1099 Rupees.
2. Today my blackberry services were barred at around 12:50 hours. (11/11/2009).
3. When I called Vodafone (111) they informed me that the usage has exceeded the limit.
4. Please note I had informed me that I am using this phone to access internet and downloads.
5. I have made not more than 10 out going calls from this phone.
6. How has my bill exceeded the limit as the usage was supposed to be Unlimited.
7. The customer service tells me to make a payment now and it will be removed later after the bill is
generated as its unlimited usage for 1099/=.
8. I don't understand why I should pay you because I have not made any outgoing calls that is worth 1394.50/=
as informed to me by your executive.
9. If this is for unlimited usage for 1099/= then how have you billed me for this as this is unlimited.
10. I have asked your customer service to deactivate this number till the time vodafone clarifies this issue.
11. The reference number given by vodafone is[protected].

Request you to check and reply back as early as possible. I have a current connection with vodafone and would
like to use your services. Since I want to use my blackberry, please reply with an explaination urgently otherwise I
will check on the blackberry services with some other vendor.

Also, note I am very unhappy with your you for not telling me that i will have to pay extra for an unlimited usage for Plan-BBP 1099.
I will wait for your response for two day after which I will submit my complain in the consumer forum.

If you do not handle such query then please reply back and mark a mail to the dept. that can help me.

Dear Laxmi Bhan,

I am still awaiting your response. I am going through mental agony of
being charged undue amt by vodafone for an unlimited service.

Please assist ASAP. Now when I called your customer care they told me
that my bill is 3000/= approx. How I still don't understand - Mine BBP 1099 was
supposed to be a unlimited plan. I am not a big shot who can afford to spend 99,000/=
a month for a Black berry plan.

Please help!

Vodafone sucks in Goa... I too am having a very bad experience... Sue them.
- I took the 1099 plan around a week back
- My number was barred the very next day saying that i have exceeded my credit limit
- I was informed that the 1350 that i had to pay was the rental of 1099 (BB Plan) + 199 (postpaid plan) + sms charges, and so i paid the amount
- After about 2 days i was barred again after which i was told that i would get debarred within 2 hours and i did get debarred.
- Today i got barred again for exceeding my credit limit. I have definitely not sent more dan 1000 sms's (Each sms is 0.50 paise), then how could i have crossed my credit limit? The plan i have taken says that i get 200 minutes off calling free, but in either case i havnt made more dan 10-15 calls.
- Now they say i have to pay 1500, only after which my sim will get activated.
- Why am i paying almost 3000 bucks when my plan is 1099 plus a 199 postpaid rental . The other services are supposed to be free.
