[Resolved]  Vodafone — Most irresponsible Service

My Name is Umakanth.T.
I am the hutch customer from past 7 years.
Now I am baring the numbers
1)[protected] post paid customer of vodafone
2)[protected] post paid customer of vodafone
3)[protected] prepaid customer of vodafone
4)[protected] prepaid customer of vodafone

1st problem:- regarding number [protected]
1)I am unable to receive the network from past two months and till date but still i am receiving the bill every month.
2)i had complained about this to the vodafone customer care [protected] from my prepaid number and they are saying me that they are unable to connect me to the post paid department.So i asked what shell i do for this.Then I asked them whether post paid and prepaid departments belong to the same Company are not.
3)When they reqired a connection they will come to us but when we want your service they are not at all bothered about that.
2nd problem:-regarding number [protected]
1)After seeing this all i want to disconect this number so i called the customer care and asked to disconect this connection.they said me to submit a letter in Vodafone Head Quarters in Chennai,Which is 42 Kilometers from where I stay.
2)When they want a connection they just say lot of thing about there customer care and lot of offers provided by them.And they will come to us where we stay but when we have problem why we should do this all...
3rd problem with [protected]:-
1)I had take this number from a shop near my home where i submitted all my documents of proof.
2)But after 2 days they had barred my out going calls
Reason:-That i did not submit my documents of proof
3)!st thing why they are selling there sims in all the shops they find.Why don't they sell in so called Vodafone shops.
4)This is very worst Why because i had given this number in my resume
and I missed all my job oppurtunites.
4th problem with [protected]:-
This Number I got from my friend.This Sim is Having Some lock system which I am unaware.So i tried and the sim was locked,so asking about PUK number.So i Did an other major mistake That is calling to vodafone customer care.This time a new surprise
1)welcome to vodafone customer care service
We had changed our IDr Flow of service for the BETTER CUSTOMER CARE Service
press 1 -->for the lose of sim and so on
press 2--> some thing..........
..

...
press 5--> for the PUK Number and so on
SO i pressed 5
Enter the mobile number so i entered the mobile number
it had said me the puk number of that sim.
I am So Happy by listening and tried that thats it Now MY phone Was Blocked Completely...........

I again i tried to speak with the custome care In this new IDRs sevice we can't speak with the customer care support people.
So i tried to reach the custome support people in a different way like complaing for the lose of sim
now it asked me to enter my moblle number
as per that i entered
asked for the conformation
i conformed it.
then again asked for the number
again i entered it
asked for the conformation
i conformed it.
finally i got a message like THANK YOU FOR USING THE CUSTOMER CARE VODAFONE................

I got an upgrade 26thfeb.2008, (mobile number before that was [protected])and changed my number to [protected] but no one told me i had to cancel [protected]. I also got an upgrade to a nokia slide 6500 and was able to keep the number [protected] on the 24thdec.2008. Because my phone bills have been so high 76pounds in january and 64pounds in february i phoned and made enquiries that was when i was told that i am still being charged for my old number, i was very annoyed that i was not given this information to start with.I would be very grateful if you would kindly look into this matter and rectify it as soon as possible. Also would you please send me a refund for all the money i have been overcharged, had i known what the procedure was i would have cancelled it straight away.I sincerely hope you will be very understanding in this matter. Sir/Madam,
On Monday 6th April, 2009 I was having a balance of Rs.235/- but all of a sudden till after noon a sum of Rs.100/- were deducted out of it. I asked the customer care about Rs.100/-. hey told me to wait for 2 hours to get the details. I called again at 6:00 but they told me to contact next morning. Next morning they told me to contact next day afternoon. Again on next day afternoon they told me that it was happened with many of our customers not only with you and your 100/- Rs. balance will be reversed into your account till 6:00 in the evening positively. Next day was good friday 10th of April' 2009. I tried a lot, alot and a lot to contact but all went into the hell and still I am waiting for those 100/- Rs. balance to be reversed into my account.
Till the time it was Hutch, it was OK but now Vodafone, it is really useless company.
No schemes, no response, nothing is provided to their customers.
May the authorities please see this complaint and do needful (if they want to do) in this regard.

i took one prepaid sim.after some day it is unable to call anywhere.i called vodafone care they said they will see over that and will search wats the actual problem.then again after somedays it totally not working it says sim card registration failed.again i calle them they are saying my documents are not submitted.i went to the dealer from where i purchased the sim.they again said go to vodafone customer care...i dnt know what to do now...help me...

I activated Job alert on My vodafone no. [protected] on May. And i contacted for custome care for Cancelled/ deactivation of Job alert but that was not deactive and balance was deducted from my bal. i call to customere care lots of time but nobody tell the right way to deactive the job alert. as now i am disturbed each & every time by that msg. I am tired by contacting Vodafone care.

Pls do the needful as i am going to complaint this to consumer court.

My Mobile No; [protected]. was charged with Rs; 305/ by a local dealer in Sihor (Dt;Bhavnagar) Gujarat to day.Instead of getting talktime of Rs.274/ as per scheme. I had received only Rs.200 (two hundred only ) in my Account.
This is a very serious matter as it hurts the reputation of Vodafone.
I request you to look in to the matter and do send me reply with satisfaction

am a new customer to vodafone., its the worst customer service i have ever come across., a escalation lead (his name is prithvi raj) is not willing to connect me to a some one esle and he is giving me such a worst support.he is askin me 'why should i transfer u to someone else' and 'i wont'..plz do take care of this.
i bought a vodafone line([protected])in india and it was barred
my number is [protected]. i made a few special number msgs to jaago and jeeto i.e 57575 vodafone has applied charges on my bill stating jaago and jeeto msg 975 inr and special number msgs 465 inr this way they are billing me twice to use a single service + to top up to the same when i call the customer service of the billing department they have no idea what they are saying nd want to xfer my call to their team leader put me on hold nd after a 10 min hold the call gets disconnected. i call back and the rep again xfers me and another 10 min hold and call diconnected and this repeats the third time so i thought better not pay such people who dnt have value for my money, time nd dnt respect their cust as well. they are a real cheat not only this no one bothers to call back the cust if the call gets disconnected nd the problem is not resolved. not at all proper customer satisfaction recieved from vodafone. if there are awards been declared i dnt think so the even deserve to be listed.
Sir, I got my PUK number, but where should I input this data? The only info appearing on my screen is "PUK code is blocked. Please contact your provider". and only number which I can dial is the emergency 112. I would be obliged if some help could be given by mailing me.

My vodofone mobile no.is [protected], I recived an sms to recharge with 73, accordingly i have charged but vodfone did not give any talktime for the recharge. i[censored] want to send an sms send it cleraly so that the customer can understand, if you dont want to send it cleraly, plz dont send any sms, we are not intersted in your offers. now i have lost 73/- by responding. pl provide talktime for Rs 73/- . customer care personel is no way know how to talk with customer.
