[Resolved]  Vodafone — Services barred and couldn't be debarred by Vodafone

Hi,

This is with reference to my previous complaint -
My number 96549023** was barred on 4th as the outstanding amount crossed teh limit of 1k, I later discoverd that was due to the advance fees they charged on my vodafone account and GPRS usages which they keep billing till the end of month when they revert it back as I have 1000 mb of free usages.

So infact there never was an outstanding surpassing the limit, yet they gave a call and said when will you deposite the money, i said within 2 hours and I did the same using online payment provided on the site.

Yet the disconnected the outgoing, sms and gprs, I even paid 3k for security on 5th yet the services couldn't be started they kept telling me it fault in your handset, bl**dy monkeys.
They didn't undestand that till they sent a sms that your service have been barred, my phone was fine but after that it discovered a hardware fault, anyways, what to expect of 12th pass person.

later on 7th morning some techncial guy called and he asked me if the outgoing and sms were working fine, I check and they hads started working, that means this guy eventually fixed and called me.
But the gprs was not working and was giving me error Activation denied error 4159 , so after another 10 rounds of calling back to the customer care I decided to unsubscribe the GPRS and find something other service proably.

In short don't let your phone cross the limit, else they will cut the services withtout a proper notice and they don't have means to activate your services in time even if they and their 12th class pass CCE try.

Either don't go for Vodafone, if you go for them, be prepared to loose your calling when you will desperately need it.

Vodafone — service debarred without notice

i took a pre paid mobike connection from an authorised agent of vodafone on 17 may 09. service was started on the same day but my number is debarred on 31 may 09 without any notice. i met with the agent but he replied that this is related to vodafone head office. i had deposited the vadil proof of addres and identity. i resubmitted the same to the agent.

sir please look into the matter. this case is not only with me. it is with some of my friends also. this is a very common problem with vodafone.

MAY I TAKE AN OPPORTUNITY TO INTRUCE MESLFAS PRASHANT MGHE(DGM) AUTO INDUSTRY.I AM POSTED IN PUNJAB AND HOMETOWN IS JODHPUR.I CAME ON ANNUAL VACATION AND BUYED VODAPHONE SIM COMPLETING ALL NECESSARY FORMALITIES.I FILLED LOCAL ADRESS AS ACTUAL OF PUNJAB AND PERMANENT ADRESS OF MY PARENTAL HOUSE ALONG WITH PAN NO AND ALL OTER VALID IDENTIFACTIONS.
MY CONNETION WAS BARRED FOR IN AND OUTGOING DEMANDING LOCAL PER. ADRESS.WHICH I HAVE FURNISHED IN TIME. NOW INTRESTINGLY U PL SEE HOW THE COUSTMER IS TOURTURED BY YOUR:

1 MR SUNIL FROM JAIPUR CONFIRMED THAT ALL FORMALITIES HAS BEEN COMPLETED AND SEVICESE WILL RESUME IN 1HR.THEN THEREAFTER HE NEVER LIFTED MY/DEALERS PHONE.
2Mr ravi/jaipur always cut my ph at least11 times
3 Dealer shown his total helpness in this matter
4 inspite of assurance fr mr sunilRSM no action took pl and ignorance was continued for last 10 days
4,Rs800 and extremely important calls from myoffice has tarnished my image to some extent.
5it appears that it has a inherent culture of teasing coustmer who trapped in such situations for lake of training of yr dealers to guide at the time of filling the form.
6.a service provider can be so ignorant is unbeliveabl/insulting to coustmer who had22 visits to dealer17 calls to yr officials,without service with total irresponsible behavior.
9.against my submissive nature I am compelled to move to consume court.
10i visited jodhpur office where Mr anant has shown sympathy and agreed that I am not at fault.
