[Resolved] Vodafone — Services barred and couldn't be debarred by Vodafone
This is with reference to my previous complaint -
My number 96549023** was barred on 4th as the outstanding amount crossed teh limit of 1k, I later discoverd that was due to the advance fees they charged on my vodafone account and GPRS usages which they keep billing till the end of month when they revert it back as I have 1000 mb of free usages.
So infact there never was an outstanding surpassing the limit, yet they gave a call and said when will you deposite the money, i said within 2 hours and I did the same using online payment provided on the site.
Yet the disconnected the outgoing, sms and gprs, I even paid 3k for security on 5th yet the services couldn't be started they kept telling me it fault in your handset, bl**dy monkeys.
They didn't undestand that till they sent a sms that your service have been barred, my phone was fine but after that it discovered a hardware fault, anyways, what to expect of 12th pass person.
later on 7th morning some techncial guy called and he asked me if the outgoing and sms were working fine, I check and they hads started working, that means this guy eventually fixed and called me.
But the gprs was not working and was giving me error Activation denied error 4159 , so after another 10 rounds of calling back to the customer care I decided to unsubscribe the GPRS and find something other service proably.
In short don't let your phone cross the limit, else they will cut the services withtout a proper notice and they don't have means to activate your services in time even if they and their 12th class pass CCE try.
Either don't go for Vodafone, if you go for them, be prepared to loose your calling when you will desperately need it.
