[Resolved]  Vodafone — Poor Network Coverage (Pune)

Hi,

I am a vodafone mobile user, I am facing network problem from last couple of months, I couldn't get it resolved.Finally putting it here.

I am getting same response from them, that we planning to install a new site in your area in few days, I can't see the new site but I can see the new hoarding after few days, I guess vodafone is busy in putting hoarding instead of putting network towers.

Here is the email, that I wrote to Vodafone, multiple times but no written reply from then just phone calls saying we'll resolve it soon.

This is to inform you that I have got call from your executive Mr. Manoj Kumar. He told about the plan of installing site near my place (Tadi Wala Road) and it would be finished by this month or may be in first week of next month. But let me tell you that, I am not happy with the response because I got the same response too many time earlier. This time I would like to have official confirmation on this, I am not going to leave it this time unless it gets resolved.

I am anticipating your confirmation and early action in this regard.

In our flat, balcony or even in our society the network signal bar on cell display goes up and down rapidly and sometimes it completely goes off. The location display also varies, sometimes it shows ruby hall, modal colony, sancehti, koregaon park ...Due to this I am facing a lot of problems. I am not able to talk even I am standing in the balcony of my flat. Its very irritating. I was happy with Hutch, when I was in Delhi, But In pune I am fed up with the network of Hutch.

me few friends have changed the service provider due to this coverage problem.

One thing, I want to add here is, there is no problem with my cell. Its nokia 6030 bought last year, and earlier I was using 3315. So please don't suspect any problem with the handset that's not the case, I have tried using some other cell phone but results were same.

Please look into this issue as soon as possible.

i am using vodafone prepaid service from last 3 years but i am very sorry to inform that the signal strength in pimple saudagar, pune is so weak that it's causing call drops, fluctuation in signal as well as disturbance during the active call, regarding those issues i have made several complaints in vodafone but the situation is same and every time i receive a call from vodafone technical department and they inform that very soon vodafone is going to install a new tower in pimple saudagar, pune as this is not only my individual problem same problems is faced by many other customer of pimple saudagar too and without my information they closes my complaint in the complaint tracking system.
when ever i call back to customer care to inquire about my complaint they inform that my previous logged complaint is closed.

so i want to make a complaint against vodafaone that either they should install the tower first and only after that the can close my complaint or they have no right to close my complaint till the problem is resolved.

i request you to take strict action against vodafone to stop the game of cheating with the customers and resolve the network issue by installing a new tower in pimple saudagar, pune as soon as possible.

I am facing same problem in Pune in Lohegaon area and inspite of numerous communications and followup the answer still remains standard, " we are looking in to it". My complaint no [protected]
[protected] still remains unattended without any regret from the company.

Problem is they are not bothered about we customers and take our complaints as one-off not as representative of the complainants.

Vodafone — Closing complaints without informing the customer or resolving it

Sir,

This is with regards to the complaints that I have been lodging with vodafone since the past couple of months for the innumerable telemarketing / promotional sms'es and calls that I receive on a regular basis which now has become a nuisance. Everytime that I lodge a complaint with Vodafone, the same is closed without my knowledge and on calling them back, a fresh complaint for the same reason is lodged again. So far around 4 complaints with the same concern have been raised by me but closed by them without even letting me about it. The sms mentions that "As per your feedback, we are closing this complaint" However, for the closure I do not see anyone calling up and taking my consent to have my complaint closed in other words, to confirm if my issue is resolved.

Another rather funny part about this whole thing is that though escalation email id's are provided, it doesnt matter if you escalate your concern from the nodal officer to the Appellate Authority, your mail still goes to the same and revert received from the same set of represntatives. The complainants are supposed to get in touch with Ms. Zillah who happens to be at a sr,. management level at Vodafone , however never even once inspite of all my esclation has she tried getting in touch with me and understand my greivance.Post this escalation, I did mark a mail to Appelllate Authority. This mail too went to Ms Zillah as well and I was nce again called up by her representative.

There was also an ocassion wherone of the representative Mandar closed my complaint ...the reason...he wasnt keeping well (thats what i was told by him ) which was later on coorrected by his senior as technical glitch which sometimes happens with the system where the complaints are automatically closed(Dont know wher shoudl i start thinking from).

I have intimated them about taking a legal course due to this mental harrassment but to no vain. They are least bothered and have closed my complaint already...this again without informing me.

Vodafone — BAD NETWORK IN PRIME AREA

Sir there is problem of network coverage and call drop in our office , due to which we suffer a lot and also my bill amount has increased by 20%. sir i have complaint verbally and in written lots of time , the executive comes here for verification but does nothing since last one year. At last i got the reply from vodafone custumer care that you have to bear for another 03-04 months.Please note that our office is in one of the post prime location of Vapi town. i.e GIDC Char Rasta beside GIDC office.

Hello there,

I am using 2 mobile number [protected] and [protected], this number was portability from Idea opeartor.

There is some issues of monthly bill charges all time then i have changed to operator Idea to Vodafone.

Complain: 1) Without any intimation Vodafone disconnect my both mobile, this is really bad.

reason is pay your due amount of last operator.

2) Nowadays always getting text messages of a harassing like credit limit is 1500 Rs

plz pay this amt otherwise disconnect this connect.


I think this is not good way to handle your corporate customer.Please increase my limit so that not get text messages of a harassing.


Earlier i was residing in Delhi, now transfer to PUNE and Last 8 years i am customer of vodafone.

I really appreciate the time that you have actually taken to speak with these vodafone and their team..
I live on sinhgad road near dandekar pul and have been a constant visiter at the sinhgad road vodafone store to no avail..
They keep assuring about a new tower that they are planning to have near parvati which will stop these issues..
At one point of time the executive even blamed my new iPhone 5 to be faulty. Well that can be possible only after giving me an explanation of the same things happening on my brother's Sony Xperia L, and my dad's Nokia Asha 300..
Sorry but that's just not possible.
I'm done talking with them and have finally decided to go to Tata Docomo as my next option.
I am a Vodafone user, past 5 plus years. I chose vodafone for a balance of reliability and performance, as I didn't wanted super performance with less reliability, all I expected is more then average performance with consistency.

In 2012, I kept getting messages from vodafone to recharge at 3G plans for automatically getting 3G speeds on my existing card. I did, things worked fine for a year, post which speed, call drop, number unavailable popped up. I updated to Canvas 2 phone a year back, things were still okay, till until a month back, crap started. I live in a IT campus, where most operators have 100% of their services.

At any given 1 min, my network bars fluctuate from 0 to 4 ten fifteen times, difficulty in calling someone, call drops, poor audibility, have to shout on call, have to borrow others cell. Be it inside house or under the open sky. Data usage is worst, i keep recharging for 1GB or more packages and signal fluctuates from E to H. Funniest part is even with zero network bars, it shows connected to H.

Called Vodafone, did tons of settings, replaced other SIM's into my phone, they work superb. Used my card into others, It sucked for range.

Now the tech dept of Vodafone call centre says, replace SIM as its old, submit documents, pay a small fee and it would be done.

MY QUESTION IS, before sending a message to a customer to keep recharging with 3G plans, cant VODAFONE check with SIM compatibility.

If I have to do the documentation process again, I will better go with Docomo or Airtel, which keep luring me with their offers.

WORST customer support. Vodafone, you gonna let a 5 year old subscriber Go AWAY just like that?

Advise: Don't get lured by big names, Don't get lured by cheap plans.
I have been Vodafone Post Paid customer for about two years. Before that I was prepaid customer for about 8 years. My problem is absolute poor network connection at my residence.. First I was using One Plus One mobile. Since the problem was not solved I had gone for Samsung Galaxy A5. No improvement. Some one from Vodafone told me to select WCDMA and not WCDMA+GSM. Initially it worked. Now during last one week there is no signal of H. Sometimes I get E. But majority of the time its EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY. I have missed many phone calls. Even when I receive phone calls it is disturbed with voice cracking.
What is the solution? Should I change service provider to Idea Cellular. I was told even Airtel is not better than vodafone. Any suggestion?

hear vodafone network is very poor not even single point of signal is available.it come like passing air and goes in a second so please work on this or else customers in this area may move to another network.
